MAC Après Chic Collection Discussion (December 2012)

The last of my AC haul arrived today, very happy with all my purchases.

I got Silver Birch today, very pretty. Like it a lot better than Ice. Still very shimmery, but not like the crazy sparkly glitter orgy on lids that is Ice. I feel like it looks almost gold on me, or rather there's more of an antique gold hue to it than what I expected from swatches. I like it better than Chanel Epatant.

Mine looks like that too, although I'm only seeing it in artificial light.

How they look in the pan (no flash). I would have preferred more of the purple in Fireside, the dark patch on the right side is all there is:



Hot Chocolate, Haute Altitude and Apres Chic (with and without flash). HC looks way browner here than it does in daylight:



I tried to do some lip swatches during the day but it turns out I suck at using my camera phone! These are the best I could manage.

None of Apres Chic but it's a very wearable daytime red for someone not used to reds

LOL! How old is your daughter? I have 2 daughters and I cherish the times when I can unveil my black boxes and do my makeup alone!!

I just happened to catch right when they were updating the website. It looks like only Hot Chocolate lipstick was restocked. Did Porcelain Pink sell out? That's in stock now if it did. I don't know about anything else.
