Shadow, I am not as fair as you are - I'm NW20/25 - and Wulong really doesn't give me any color, it just warms up my skin. I went back and used a fluffy Hakuhodo to apply more (I can't remember which Hakuhodo - they don't put the numbers on the brushes) and I really liked the effect - but again, it's undetectable. I don't have anything quite like it.

Interestingly enough, my SA also said that Mythic, which is 'whiter' and has more pink in it, would look great on me. I would tend to agree (and it IS available in refills for $55, Wulong is not - thank you Anitacska!). I haven't used it yet but plan to tomorrow, and more often than Wulong since it is perm. It is actually a color combo that I would gravitate to. But all that said, I don't think Wulong would be dark on you at all. The little tan facets are not at all dark (I think Temptalia's photo is pretty accurate) and you really don't see 'color' at all on your face.

$170 is a lot to shell out - I'm still a bit numb from the experience - but if I were you, I'd probably see how I like Voyage (is that just the compact designation, or is it a color?) since you see it before you buy it..........I think if I had not had the opportunity to see it first, I might not have splurged on Wulong.

I think the perm colour is called Mythic which used to be the name of the original Meteorites perles as well.

I think it's fair to say that Wulong is a bit warmer than others but it isn't dark at all, the colour really doesn't show up (unless maybe if you're as white as paper, but even then it would be a very subtle tint). Some other Voyage Powders can be quite frosty on me, the Gold Temptation one I can really only use as a highlighter, but Wulong works very well as an all over finishing powder.

What items would you like to see in Guerlain's summer collection? Anyone feel like speculating or dreaming?

I would love to see a tinted moisturizer in Beige Pale 01; either a powder or gel product for filling in brows; and a purple Rouge G lipstick similar to the Kiss Kiss Gloss in Shimmering Violet (803).

I've been trying to find some info googling every day, but I haven't seen anything. I won't say no to new Meteorites or a gorgeous highlighter like Cruel Gardenia. Some new pretty Rouge G would be fab too, they are my favourite lipstick formula. I'm guessing there'll be a pretty bronzer again, and a summery themed eyeshadow palette. Can't wait to find out, and we haven't even got the spring collection over here!

One thing I'm annoyed with Guerlain about is my Noir G mascara, the little black clasp thingy broke off, so now the mirror won't stay closed.

Luckily I only paid a few pounds for it because I bought it on eBay prior to it releasing in stores (probably from a blogger who didn't want it), because I wouldn't want to fork out £36 for it again. I was just about to buy a refill for it, but I won't bother now... I'll try out the new mascara instead, that doesn't have any fancy opening mechanism.

Dumb question: Does the Mythic refill fit into the regular Meteorites Compact Powder (that holds Teint Rose, Teint Dore) compact?

Edit: Never mind, in my reading I see that it wouldn't. Should fit perfectly in my Le Metier de Beaute compact though. Hmmmm

Indeed. I don't think I've seen lipsticks in any formula released with a Guerlain summer collection in a few years. They always seem to have very sheer glosses instead. I skipped the shadow quad last year, because I was convinced I had similar shades, but I still kind of kick myself, because it was a really lovely one. And of course, I keep hoping by some miracle to find cruel Gardenia at a reasonable price somewhere. I'd ever scouted evilBay, but I'm not willing to go as high as that.

I'm not happy with my Noir G mascara. The part that removes excess mascara from the wand doesn't always work, so I pull the wand out and it's completely goopy and full of mascara! Not what you would expect for a Guerlain product.

Guerlain is redoing some bronzers! Also nails will play a big part of color stories in the future . The nail varnish's are true vanishes and of great quality. So for summer look for new bronzers and maybe some new polishes!

Focus is on Orchidee in a big way too!

I'm disappointed. How many bronzers does one need? I have a couple of faves, but generally am not on the hunt for a new one.......the polishes sound interesting, but I would have loved to see some color.

Ooh I don't know, I love the pretty bronzers they've been coming out with. Sure I don't need them, but that doesn't stop me wanting them. I'm sure there'll be some nice eyeshadows too.

Ok guys this is my story of the day. I met up with my makeup friend today and somewhere the Perles de Nuit came into the conversation. I told my friend that I really like them and then she told me that she knew of a place that still had them! She had shopped a lot of Guerlain recently at that place and when she asked about the Dragon Ballz they showed her the Nuit Balls too and that's how she found out. The place didn't have them on the display anymore. I went there and told them that I heard they still had the Perles de Nuit. The woman had to think for a second and then answered with a yes! She also showed me the Perles d'Azur and then I asked if they maybe had the Parure de Nuit (the pretty peacock feather powder) too and jackpot! So of course I got all three of them

Can you imagine how happy I was

The woman that helped me was really great. She is also a big Guerlain fan and gave me a lot of samples and some cute makeup bags for free. I was trying not to spend much more money on makeup this month, but as you can see that didn't work out so well...ow well I'll do better next time...maybe...
BTW if anyone near eindhoven is still looking for the Perles de Nuit meteorites they still had one left! It was in the Mooi parfumerie (former Ochelle parfumerie).

I haven't had the chance to check it out in person yet, I was stuck at home today with a sick daughter and yesterday I was poorly. But I ordered the Meteorites last week and the green quad today. I'll probably order the purple quad as well and then see the lipsticks in person. I'm on a lipstick no buy, so unless they are very special, I'll try to skip. Does anyone know if they are LE?
