See, you lost me when you said highlight and contour. LOL!!! I tried the SB BB cream. I'll have to try it again.
I dunno about BB creams. All the ones I've tried have been a bit heavy for my taste. I DO really really love the Mineralize SPF15 cream foundation, though. When I wear that, it honestly looks like I'm not wearing anything, but the coverage takes care of all my needs. It's my favorite foundation, although I also really like Matchmaster - it's just that Matchmaster is so much more formal looking.

I really like Amber Glow. It's almost invisible--someone here described it as a the perfect "no makeup" blush (for warm light skin tones). It adds some glow, but not as much as a mineralized skin finish. Very natural, healthy-looking and pretty if you have the coloring to work with.

I used AG today as blus and on my NC20 is visible, but gently: D Effect - gorgeous

I don't have Obscura, but I do have another shadow that WP looks beautiful with! Wore WP on the lid with Antiqued in the crease the other day and fell head over heels in love. Some Sunbasque blush with Whisper of Gilt to highlight on the cheeks, Morning Coffee PLW liner all over the lip with Power Supply plushglass on top, and I found a new look to add to my favorites list!

Instead Obscura, you can use the Shadow Frost At Midnight - in terms of color contrast.
Today I gave WP on eyelid, brown with Double Feature # 5 in the crease, and the outer corner - Obscura & everything fits together perfectly.

I gave in and got a BU of Après Chic yesterday. I'm wearing it today with Stereo Rose as a blush, Strada to contour and on my eyes I have Winter Pursuit on the lids, Fireside in the crease and Blanc Type on the browbone. It's kinda inspired by the promo image. I love it! It's a very natural look (for me at least) with some warmth to it.
I'm also wearing the BB cream and I think I really like it. It's very light coverage and I have problems most of the time with light coverage stuff, because they always seem more watery or oilier or something and don't work with my oily skin. The BB cream doesn't have that problem yay! I use a bit of Studio Finish concealer to cover some red spots and set it with MSFN.
I've also used Amber Glow a couple of times already and it's a very nice natural blush with a glow to it. It has a slight peach tint to it without having too much colour to it which I sometimes want for bolder eyes/lips.

There are also a couple of great sales going on too. One with Zoya and another with A England. I took part in the sales and it will be my first time trying both brands.
I was doing so good not buying polish and avoiding the thread and now you tell me there is a A England sale?! I had to check the site and it is a great sale why o why?!

Do you think Amber Glow is comparable to any shades in the perm line or any that came out in the recent collections? I'm trying to find excuses not to buy it

You can run but you can't hide

Enjoy the fumes!
I don't know of any dupes sorry. Most peachy shades are more matte and a have a bit more colour to them. It is also different from Light Year I think, because Light Year has more pink to it. Good luck finding excuses

A-England polishes are just amazing! I only have 3 Bridal Veil, Dragon and Order of the Garter, but I would love to have more. I have also loved the swatches of the recently released polishes so this would be the perfect time to get them I guess. I'll think about it some more and see what I'll do.

The AE sale will run for several days, so you have plenty of time to decide

Wearing Apres Chic today for the first time

I am getting the dreaded skippers remorse on that one. Somehow, I had it in the cart, went back and deleted it. Guess I figured it was dupeable and I would wait for something similar with a different finish. I was hoping matte or mattene finish in that color shade.

I think I like AC as much as I do because of the finish. I'm a matte/satin girl through and through, but I've recently fallen in love with the creamsheens. I love both Glamourdaze and Apres Chic. I know the satins last longer, but this finish is fresh and more natural looking for work. I have to apply it more often, but I'm fine with that. I have so much lipstick that I'll be thrilled to actually finish a tube so I don't mind at all if I go through the creamsheens more quickly.

This is a gorgeous lippie and is the first I've ever backed up.
