oh god, have you seen Carrot Top lately???

Plastic surgery + steroids nightmare (plus crappy makeup on top of it all). He was kinda boyishly cute way back when he was first starting out (not that I want to comment on his comedy act, lol).
I thought the lady from Real Housewives in Miami was bad, sheesh

I hope I get an invite I want some extra goodies!! I'm going to call mac right now!
I am not a frequent visitor to her website, but I found T's reviews quite true at least with the new Rouge Allures from Chanel. She was among the few who found it drying..and I find them terribly drying (though, I know a lot of people love these lipsticks). She didn't like the Hidden Treasure blush from the Styleseeker collection, but I absolutely love it. I guess it's just a matter of differences in skin type/personal preferences, etc., which makes different people have different reactions to the same product, even if it's makeup and not skincare.

I don't think her reviews should be influenced by the fact that she had to spend money on them, though. Would she review products less harshly if there wasn't the added issue of having wasted money on them? I sure hope that's not the case...besides, I think she gets enough returns on whatever she spends to not be too bothered about it :)

If she used an image without crediting the source/person - well, she just dropped a teeny bit in the rankings.

Yuss! Prince Noir is really awesome :) Not an every day color for me, so I didn't go BU crazy, but it's definitely one of my favorite deeper shades.
yes mine too. the first time i tried it on i was in love! i don't do that color lipstick often but if i do then i do her (haha)

Maybe that's where my problem lies. I don't just have one Nordies where I can be a loyal customer to. I live across the road from one, work down the street from another one, and between those two there is another Nordie, plus an actual MAC store. I shop around my schedule, so my go-to MAC counter varies.

Pick the one where you like the MUA the most and build a relation with them. It will get you into that backroom :)

Boyfriend Stealer is the one that's grabbing me the most too. Ronnie Red looks like it has potential, but it also looks like it might be a lustre or another sheerer formula - hey, maybe it'll be a "good" creamsheen like Apres Chic - that could be good! Daddy's Little Girl looks an awful lot like Night Blooming mattene, which is a good thing for me, although I'm starting to drown in hot pinks.

None of the Betty lipsticks interest me, not even the coral. I have plenty 'o coral!

Maybe one or two lipglasses, one or two pigments (I love that pastel green but chances are it's not gonna love me) and that's about it for me - the blushes are pretty but I bet I have dupes by now.

I just spent so damn much between Strength and Apres Chic, I feel like I'm seriously covered for a while.

It is a gorg color! But I'm pretty content with my Riviting Rose. It's my fav vampy color. Well that and Rocker ;)

It would be funny if it releases online before we learn the full color story. This would be a new twist. :)

Does Nordstrom website usually release Mac collections on the same day as Mac official launch dates?
If anybody knows about this, let me know.

(I should buy this collection at the Nordstrom website, so that's why I ask.)

lucky - you must have very pretty hair!

i adore red hair, and if my skin was a different colour, i'd probably make sure my hair was either red or platinum.

do we have a firm launch date for this collection? was feb 14 accurate?
Thank you! My hairdresser does compliment it.

I love your hair colour, too! When I was younger I wanted a dark hair but these days I'm content with just being different (in every respect).

I'm not really excited about e/s quads in general: they are often composed entirely of colors i will never wear, or they're mostly matte, or they have poor color payoff.

But Call Me Bubbles is only the second quad in 3 years that i've wanted. I skipped it, not sure i have skipper's remorse, just one of the few i found really really appealing. But I figured i have Free to Be, and several light neutral, peachy, and copper shadows, so i didn't really *need* it. Still i really love that specific combination in one palette.

OK, OK, i confess the e/s quints in the 2012 Holiday Fabulousness sets were *gorgeous*, but i couldn't justify the expense - not after what i shelled out on Glamour Daze.
