Over here $25 for a lipstick with normal packaging. Ugh.

Hopefully they just rounded up from $16.50. GD was technically special packaging... Technically. I know it's just a 50 cent difference, but it adds up when you're haulin'. I'm not sure, but I feel like when MM information was starting to come out, they rounded up as well. MM was such a frenzy though, I can't remember how much the lippies ended up being.

Thanks girly, all is well! Had been MIA because I was finishing the semester and finally graduation now I got more time to mess with MAC and hopefully a new awesome paycheck to spend it on MAC lolllll hopefully before this collection comes because I want everything lol I hope all is well with you too!

Oof $17 for a lipstick though? I missed that. Hmmm... I might be a bit more picky on items then. I do want a quad for sure though. Lipsticks are seriously the last things on my list... we shall see!!!
I really prefer only a $1 jump in special packaging, but $2 better mean that it's pretty darn cool!

:agree: Shiny black is far from special in my book!I don't mind the higher price (within a normal price jump) either. However, I found Glamour Daze stupid. It wasn't bad packaging but it was hardly "special". Now, Archie I am super excited about

Shiny black is the exact glossy look Victoria Secret make-up etc has been packaged in for a long time now. I posted that on the GD thread back then

I don't see it as people getting stressed over the increase. Most of us expected it to happen. Of course, more taxes are being taken out of paychecks, my rent is going up again and it just went up three months ago, transportation expenses, medical, food, etc. I think it's just a sign of the times. My issue is that with everything going up, salaries aren't and people need to adjust their finances accordingly.

I may skip the lipsticks altogether because I already have soooo many. 2012 was a great year for lippies, so 2013 is going to be the year to use them up! Right now I'm interested in the Spoiled Rich quad, Veronica's pigments, and the pearlmattes. Can't wait for the color story!

Im really just upset because if the lippes are that much everything else will be more and i wont be able to get everyhting i want. thats the real reason im upset lol. i just hope to get my must haves and then pick up the rest later if there is anything!
