Here's a very basic video of how one user applies highlighters.  Sometimes it's just easier if you actually see it versus a verbal description.  This is just one of many videos available that you may find helpful.
thanks girl , the video didn't show up tho... can you tell me what to search for to find it?

That sounds pretty.I have to try this combo!
I think my favorite combination has been Silver Birch on the lid and into the crease with Plumage lightly in the crease over SB. It darkens the color while playing up the green nuance perfectly. A little black eyeliner with Plumage smudged on top and I'm smitten.

Also Silver Birch has been the best silver I've ever had for my coloring. Most silvers are too cool and stark against my skin, but this is just perfect.

If anyone's having a Fireside MES with a lot of plum and not that green duochrome, and would like one with more of that green duochrome, I would like to swap. I have almost all of the eyeshadow of that green duochrome that I don't like. Please PM me if interested.

I just put some pics in the Strength thread, but I'll repost one here, since on my eyes I'm wearing Fireside MES. I really like it for my blue/grey eyes I feel like it makes them pop. The green duochrome isn't too noticable, but it just adds a nice touch to the colour.

Absolutely stunning on you!!!! I love how Fireside makes your blue eyes pop. Great eyeshadow color. Red is your signature lip color my dear - wow

I ordered the balms for my sister. Man are they tiny!
They're smaller than lip gelees, but you need to use so little compare to LGs. I only need about the size of a grain of rice for full coverage on my lips. Anything more and they just get diminishing returns - don't look better but get greasier.

I really like these . Although I only have one the dark one and yet have to find swatches for woc wearing the lighter ones but they are Defintely much nicer than lip gelees. My lips are very pigmented so if I do not find more lip swatches I just might get another of rosy romance.

Medgal I'd like that link please. I think I missed it.
Here are two, but there are tons that can give you a good idea contouring and highlighting. You can use whatever area of the technique that most suits your needs/tastes.
