How long have I yapped about having something in a PERIWINKLE color and we finally get something. It's a start. I hope there are quite a few of these periwinkle leafs for us. I'd like some color payoff.

You want a firm brush as the pearlmattes are extremely hard pressed. For highlighting, I'd use the 169 (the 168 is way too soft, which results in zero color pay off). Alternatively, the 128 might work, but as it is not angled, it's not ideal (though it is certainly firm enough). For an all-over application, I'd use the 183. Although the hair is soft, it works well as it is flat and short, which allows (a) the brush to pick up enough product and (b) deposit the pigment on your skin rather than being stuck on the bristles.
Thank you!

I love my Vera pearlmattes. I can actually use my Flower Fantasy as a contour colour and they both have a beautiful highlighting shade.

Will these powders have an overspray you think? I'm not familiar with pearl mattes. Devils Food is calling me as im really smitten with Plummy lip shades. The paint pots looks nice in Mooncake,Eclair, and Dangerous Cuvée. I wonder I'd the green polish will be like Mischievous Mint?

Thank you so much for all this amazing info, Mac-Guy!!!

Good thing i am not very interested in Archie - i need to check out Boyfriend Stealer lipstick, Feelin' So Good lipglass, and Veronica's Blush Pearlmatte, but i could end up skipping them altogether.

But this collection is catching my eye, and potentially draining my wallet - i don't have a sweet tooth, but how can i resist! Calling to me now:

Lipstick
Lavender Whip - Light cool lavender (Cremesheen)
Devil's Food - Glossy deep plum (Frost)

Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm
Sweet Tooth - Creamy lilac
Glacé - Creamy pale baby blue

Pro Longwear Paint Pot
Eclair - Light chocolate with gold pearlized pigments

Pearlmatte Face Powder
In For A Treat - Champagne base with matte coral flowers and mint leaves
Pink Buttercream - Light silvery pink base with dark pink flowers and periwinkle leaves

Of course, if i get to test them in the famous "back room" my list may change...

I just really don't like it when makeup makes my skin look like i it is cracked, parched, and drought-ridden. “Dead” is ok with me, mummified is not.

I noticed that too, lol, but I figured Mac-Guy was typing up a storm that day, so I cut him some slack

Though it definitely put the funny idea in my head for a whole S&M themed collection. I can imagine the names of the colors now...

Reading this thread (and the names of the products) have me craving ice cream! I may or may not have sent hubs on a run to get ice cream.... I think I will like this collection. A lot.

Maybe if I use one of those "color corrector" products all over my face and neck then blend reaaallllyyyy well, the cool-toned pastels won't look as terrible on me. >___>

I chuckled too when I saw that, but I didn't have the heart to pick on Mac-Guy--that's like dissing the Pope or something.
