I just picked up my illuminating powder.

It's gorgeous! Add me to the list of people who don't want to use it and destroy the pattern. LOL

Also picked up Beryl after seeing Lisa Eldridge's video and reading reviews here. I love MAC's Heirloom eye khol and Beryl is similar, maybe a more "grown up" version. So sad that it's LE, I can't afford to back it up.

I'm tempted to pick up Exuberante... I have way too many vibrant pink lips as it is... Though this seems a bit office friendly since it's matte.

Hello! Need everyone's help...I just saw this Chanel Mouche de Beauté Illuminating Powder, where did this come from? It's so beautiful, has anyone bought this & if so where? Is this only at Chanel boutiques or will it be available on Chanel.com, Saks or Neimans & when is this supposed to come out. I just called my local Saks and Neimans they have no clue what I am talking about!

RE: The photographer is Yoshihito Sasaguchi and the stylist is Fumio Baba. I'm way behind, but in the Japenese photo shoot with the girl wearing the coraly LS is breathtaking. I would love to pull something off like this. Anyone know of a less expensive option of the LS or what LS this is?

Best Things in Beauty says this:

Mouche de Beauté Illuminating Powder is a limited edition that, reportedly, will only be available at Chanel boutiques. I purchased mine from Chanel on 57[SUP]th[/SUP] Street in New York. You can call any Chanel boutique in the United States (or Paris) to order it.

Add me to the "Love Horizon x 2" team

This is my all time favorite blush. After I bought it and feel in love I could not locate a backup. One of our lovely members on here from Spain was kind enough to offer to do a cp for me. I am forever thankful.

Elegant--love the n/p and sooooo jealous of your nails. My nails are very weak and they break so easily. A couple of years ago I started wearing latex gloves to wash my hair because I was tired of having one break or split while doing so.

Sorry for being way off topic here.

Has anyone seen these? If so what's your verdict? Ethereal sounds interesting to me. But they all look pretty.

Also I know absolutely nothing about this brand or the products but ordered this simply because I love the compact and its on sale. I ordered the 2004 one with the blue. So if any of you have used products by this brand please share.

I bought the Rouge Allure Velvet in La Favorite from my counter today, it's my first Chanel lipstick! Haven't cracked it open yet but I tested it in store and it's beautiful. I was tempted to get L'Eclatante as well but I fear it's a bit too pink for me (ginger hair, green eyes, fair neutral skin) so I'm going to hold off on that one. I was this close to getting Beryl too but I thought I'd wait for some more reviews to crop up, tried to find something similar in Superdrug but the best they had was an MUA eyeliner which wasn't much of a dupe. Tempted to get Frivole and two nail polishes but they only had Accessoire.

I love La Favorite. Great choice & I'm sure it looks great on you. Frivole is so pretty on

I already have my eyes on a couple of these. If they look different enough from one another, that is. Hourglass release so few products that I generally find what they do come out with is exceptionally well thought out. That said, I didn't rush out to get their liquid lipsticks, which seemed a little drying even swatching them. But highlighters... My not-so-secret addiction... They're available on Sephora on line already and I'll be honest: I've stalked two stores already to see if they were in yet.

Re: the Hourglass powders: I've ordered 2 of these - in Ethereal Light and Mood Light - I love Hourglass products (like Kate, not the liquid lipsticks - ack! They dried my lips like a prune!!) - but the eye shadows, primer and foundation are beautiful, as are the lipsticks!

These appealed to me right off because they're a compact - I love my MAC Play it Proper, but these seem to have a little something extra. My order shipped yesterday so with any luck I'll have it Monday or Tuesday. I'll let you know how I like them!
