I am really on the edge about this collection.
Part of me feels like the entire concept/packaging of this collection is so incredibly cheesy....prepubescent, New Kids on the Block cheesy! I mean do I really want to be seen pulling out an Archie's lipstick/lipgloss? Can we say embarrassing......LOL!!

And then a another part of me feels like it might just be okay to reminisce a little about that far away land called childhood.......and perhaps play with the pretty colors?

The decisions big girls have to make....SMH!!!

I went to my closest Macy's to get a side by side swatch of Ronnie Red and Absolute Power, TOTALLY forgot that Strength collection is MAC store only. -_- Anyway, here are more swatches lol. LONG time lurker even longer time makeup hoarder.. finally joined just to chime in.. I'm so overwhelmed and anxious about this collection! Half the time the things I lust after often times looks ashy on me or I never wear it.. like some of the stuff in the MM collection. Do you think Flatter Me will work on an NC 42?

A collection like this will probably sell out in minutes. And yes, you can get cart-jacked!!! Has happened to me several times. You just have to be online before it's widely known the collection is online.

went to the Mac store, tried cream soda. its a light pale peach coral with a fine micro shimmer through out which i think was goldish? she let me try stuff on despite what another lady told me on the phone. i would say if you are lacking light peachy coral shades get it,you might want to use a heavy hand as its pretty light on mu cheeks. legendary is pinker and more coral with better pigmentation it seemed. the brushes are soft! i liked them i only saw the two face ones though. i was going to pass on betty bright till i tried it on, this will be the authority on spring lip shades, very pretty, and i think i like it more than WMS. Reel sexy is more coral and lacking betty brights pinkess. the pearlmattes were missing. the polishes had no characters printed on them. the other accessories were cute but way overpriced for what they were.

also the pearlglides are gorgeous and the application is superb.so glad they made these perm. the light pink lipstick for betty doesnt have a good formula IMo it was too light and hard to apply.

no problema! i thought it was pretty in person, the one at the mac store looked different from the one i saw at macys it could have been poor lighting behind the counter though. im laura mercier porcelain btw and it gave a light peachy coral pop,she did a light application it was pretty sheer. i hope you like it when you get it!
