Yes. The online release is for the 30th. But it usually pops online before that. You should join us in the stalking.

I am so horrendously torn!
I went into my local counter the other day to see if they had some of the new line in and they didn't--- but they promptly signed me up for the event. When I finished giving over my info, the MA made sure to remind me that it's a 50$ minimum (which I know, but I've never been told that so bluntly!).
The thing is, the event isn't until the 8th-- and I'm sure everything I wanted from this collection would be sold out! To order online and skip the event... or wait until the event and HOPE that they have what I want?!

I am in same situation except mine is worse...my Archie event is FEB. 14th!!!!!???
My plan is to buy my absolute must haves the day I see it online...whenever that is!!!??? I will save things I am unsure of/BU's for the instore event.

Just call them and let them put your stuff on hold until you pick it up at the event.

I honestly would NOT wait to get your things! The same thing happened to my friend during the Marilyn launch. EVERYTHING was sold out and they were just going to substitute in perm products for the makeovers! She obviously didn't want to go there and be obligated to spend $50 on perm products! And they even called to confirm her appointment KNOWING none of the products were even available! Luckily I had bought online, knew the hype, called that store, confirmed there were in fact NO products left, and informed my friend before she went! And she missed out on everything... except the few things I snagged her worrying she was going to miss out! If there are things you MUST have.... BUY NOW! DON'T WAIT! If you still want to attend the makeover for things that may be left that you weren't sure about then that would be ok. They may have stock left since it's the day it's suppose to launch in stores. But many of us have seen firsthand how products find a way into bags before the official store launch dates!

Do you have to spend that amount on the new collection? Or can you buy things that you need from the perm line as long as the total exceeds $50?

it seems like its a makeover which has a $50 min. And not an event/preview party. Go to Mac on the 7th when the collection comes out or call to have them hold it for you.

We all have seen that that method isn't always fool-proof! People "borrowing" from other people's holds to fill their own sales... It's better to be safe than sorry!
