I think I only want Devil's Food l/s and the Eclair Paint Pot which is good because April can't be anything like January or I'm going to be cryin poor.

Yup. Came out in the Quite Cute collection, April 2011. I hauled a lot of stuff from that collection.

Since I haven't compiled my full preliminary list yet:

Lipstick 15.00 US/18.00 CAD
Raspberry Swirl - Light white blue pink (Cremesheen)- Depending on swatches. I certainly have enough pink lippies, but if it's unique and will look good on me, I'll cave just because of the cute baking name.
Lavender Whip - Light cool lavender (Cremesheen)- Also a maybe. It's darker than VGN2, so I might be able to pull it off, but I think I'll have to try this one before I buy it.

Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm 19.50 US/22.50 CAD
Sweet Tooth - Creamy lilac- Definite. Especially since I have a bigger sweet tooth than anyone I know.
Baking Beauty - Creamy light peach- Possibly, depending on what kind of peach we're talking and how depleted my funds are.

Pro Longwear Pain Pot 18.50 US/22.00 CAD
Eclair - Light chocolate with gold pearlized pigments- Oh yes.

Pearlmatte Face Powder 29.00 US/34.00 CAD
In For A Treat - Champagne base with matte coral flowers and mint leaves- Gotta do it! It will be my first pearlmatte and even if I decide I don't like pearlmattes, at least it will look pretty!
Pink Buttercream - Light silvery pink base with dark pink flowers and periwinkle leaves- If it's pretty enough, I might do this too, lol.

I would do the glitter except they're not eye safe, and they're perm anyway. I guess my list isn't all that bad actually, especially since only three things are definites right now. Still, it will be a big haul that day with the Nudes & Metallics collection coming out at the same time!

Does this sound similar to the Archie's Pearlmatte "Veronica's Blush?" Shoot do I need both??

I wish I knew if you need both :/ I skipped the one from Archie's girls, so I can get the one from this collection. They sound similar in the description

It does sound similar. That's part of the reason I skipped Veronica's Blush because I want the periwinkle.

LOVE that collection. I wear the peachy blush all the time. And of course it spawned my beloved Playtime! I even wore it for my wedding :)

I can't seem to get that color to look right. Any tips?
Erine is right; it behaves better with a liner. I've found that I have to moisturize super well before using it and kinda pat it on. And I make sure to get the color all the way to the edge of lips or even a little outside or else it just looks...off somehow. Also it's def not a shade I would wear without enough eye makeup to balance it.
