MAC Strength Collection Discussion (December 2012)

I ordered Strong Woman (collection was released today - okay well actually yesterday but I haven't slept yet ) and missed out on Party Parrot... Hope the Dutch website will restock!

I hate to say this but in my experience the Dutch site doesn't do much restocking. And when they do it's usually a very small one so snagging a restocked item is a matter of luck (and persistent stalking).

Perhaps you can check out the Clearance Bin to see if someone has an extra PaPa they're trying to get rid of?

You know, that seems to be her hustle. She's repulsive but she wouldn't be around doing that stuff if there wasn't a fool willing to pay those ridiculous prices. That seller can only get as far as people are willing to let her get. Honestly, at that price point they'd definitely be a skip for me but I guess some people want them so badly they're willing to part with their money like that. It's really sad and horrible to see to that they take advantage of people like that.

I actually have noticed a couple of restocks. The items from Glamour Daze were restocked and the Marilyn lippies were too once. I also heard some people say they restocked Moxie and Moth Brown once.

That is ridiculous but like someone else said; as long as ppl continue to buy they will continue to sell. The infuriating part in all this is that we stalk these collections for months and loose sleep over them and still loose out on some products for ppl like this...not cool

Hmmm. Can't speak for GD because I didn't get much from the website. I seem to recall a MM restock but was it all of the lippies? re: Moth Brown - I wouldn't call that a restock. Wasn't MB "Sold Out" when the collection was first out? Or was that CYY?

Gawd my mind's all over the place tonight!

Either way, I wouldn't rely exclusively on the website if the item in question is something I really want. Sure, by all means I'd check it regularly but I'd consider other options too.

I haven't seen them out of stock since it was posted earlier up the page... Because I've been debating a 2nd PaPa BU... I've been checking several times the last couple days and they've been in stock the whole time! I was looking for a sign NOT to buy it! LOL
I just found it VERY odd that they'd stay in stock that long!

I only order from MAC NL online if I have no other choice. Usually there are no restocks, but IIRC the MM lipsticks were indeed restocked at some point. By then I already had everything I wanted.
I really prefer Douglas any day. I wonder when I will get my SP. That will probably take a week easily

If it had been on Douglas we would have gotten in Friday...

Are yours even shipped yet? Mine aren't (I placed another order for Strong Woman later on the same day). Ah well, at least we didn't have to pay for the wonderful service this time
