i've seen ka'oir around for a minute but i just cant bring myself to spend $16-30 on a lippie i know i wont wear very much! i'd rather find a cheap indie brand (like where i found my blue n emerald lip gloss/sticks from). i do however like the concept of the glitzsticks even though its really no different than what folks been doing...adding glitter to lips!!

for ONE lippie it would be around $23 shippin included n for crazy colors like that i need to swatch my shyt on ME first.

That's a good point. There are so many cool, creative indie brands that are accessible now.

yup thats why i tell makeup newbies to venture out n try different brands. mac is not the end all be all but we get stuck on NAME BRAND shyt we overlook up n coming brands that have superior quality if not better than name brands!
I'm about to go mad crazy on inglot shadows and blushes!!!

I'm gonna TRY not to do the same at IMATS.  April's a rough month this year, lol.
Come june at the makeup show, it's ON!!! I'm hoping my pro application goes thru soon. So much less expensive than mac, and you get A LOT more product too!

Inglot eyeshadows are amazing! I already have 11 palettes (110 eyeshadows) and I still want 4 more palettes. I got rid of a lot of other eyeshadows (palettes) and I'm even thinking about selling my Naked palette, I've bought it like two years ago and I have used it three times maybe? Not worth it. And because of my Inglot eyeshadows I won't buy every color/palette I like from other brands so that definitely helps. :flower:

Never has the

I'm not sure about the 4 more palettes part though - Surely you have the entire Inglot range already?

re: UD Naked - it's pish. Get rid of it. I've had mine for ages too and I've only gone near it a handful of times max.

I love Inglot shadows! The mattes in particular are brilliant. The only downside I can think of is that Inglot shadows can be a bit crumbly so they're probably not the best choice to put in the bag when going away. That said, my three palettes survived a 4 hour flight in checked in luggage. Only one had a tiny bit chipped off in one corner. It was one of the Pearl ones, I think.

I never tried their blushes. If they're as good as their shadows I'm in trouble

. Any shades you recommend?

I'm actually not that big of a Inglot fan. I like their eyeshadows, but I don't love them. I feel like such soft powders are sometimes too easy to blend and get everywhere. I also have the Naked palette and yesterday I got the Naked basics palette. I really like them and although I also think Urban Decay's shadows can be a bit too soft sometimes, I like them better than Inglot. I guess this is just a personal thing were some people like soft eyeshadows and some like them to be pressed harder so they are easier to control. It does depend on the look I'm going for though.

I haven't tried the blushes yet, but i was looking at swatches online, especially at the bright summery colours! I. Definitely looking at buying the bright matte shadows tho. Mac sucks at doing mattes anymore. They used to be good at it. :(and for the difference in $, inglot is so much more worth it.

By all means, do check out the mattes! The pigmentation's great and they are super blendable. The brights are indeed awesome but the lighter shades are also lovely. They have some amazing crease colours too.

Oh great. I need more Inglot now

I like the blush 29. It is orangey peach. They opened up a counter at the Macys near where I live. The only problem is they use numbers. Who can remember these?

Is MAC Heroine lipstick worth backing up if you have Violetta (which is available now on mac online for non-PROs)? I don't own Heroine but people compare it to Violetta and say they are very similar but with different finishes.

It all depends on your skintone and what you pair with it. On me, the two aren't similar at all. BIG difference!
