I have an appointment for the event on Sat so I will see what they have left and get the rest of what I might want! Oh and I wore Daddy's Little Girl and I loved it!

Hmmm...I think I will try my best to make the brush set my last purchase from this collection. I really, really need some more brushes and they would help me get the most out of my existing collection. The only things still calling to me are Kiss and Don't Tell and Girl Next Door, and I think I can stay strong.

So I thought I would just get away with getting the brush set, Ronnie Red and Prom Princess. Couldn't help but get talked into DLG when I was getting my makeup done before the event.

I want backups of RR and DLG and am tempted to get BS; and after seeing angieangel's look with Spoiled Rich, I want that, too. Oh boy, this isn't going to end well for my wallet.

I've changed my mind. The pink in Caramel Sundae is atrocious on me. Very chalky and ashy. BOOOO!!! LOL However, it could be my lack of primer and I do see it has a slightly purple sheen to it.

Hello ladies! Long time lurker and now I've gathered up enough courage to post Such lovely hauls throughout the thread! I just picked up Flatter Me and the brush set, which I should receive today (just the brush set though and Pearl CCB). I LOVE anything with hearts so I am pretty excited to have these in my makeup collection. Although, I wouldn't mind Veronica's Blush as well mainly to have more heart-embossed makeup but I would rather try and find my first EDSF, since I like frosty, sparkly, metallic highlighters.

My nostalgia and love of pretty combinations is making me want even more stuff. That and a stressful week, 3 doctors visits, getting accepted to my university of choice (I'm going back to school in the Fall), and getting paid this morning. Are there any dupes for the pink in Caramel Sundae, Kiss and don't tell, or Feeling Good?

I actually chatted w/ a mac rep yesterday asking this because the only color i was interested in Caramel Sundae was "Dreammaker"(the golden color). She said or suggested that" Da Bling" (which I have yay) is a dupe for "Cheryl Chic" (the pink color) She mentioned Nylon as a dupe for dreammaker(which doesn't seem right to me). As for the browns she mentioned Kid as a dupe for "Caramel Sundae"
I'm sorry, I can't remember the dupe she said for the darker brown in the palette "Showstopper" I think maybe she said "Mystery" or "Concrete" I'm not sure.
However after Temptalia compared "Dreammaker" to "rising star" in the bare minerals "The Next Big Thing"quad, I've decided to purchase that quad instead because the colors are very pretty and similiar and is only $30 compared to $44, and it has received positive reviews.

I can't believe my Prom Princess blush hasn't arrived yet! Got shipping notice email on Sunday around noon. Checked the p.o.box this morning. Nothing. My tracking still says 'Electronic Shipping Info Received' dated Feb. 3. Uggghh!!! I figured it should've at least arrived this past Wednesday or Thursday.

First time post for me. Thanks to everyone for their swatches, pics and opinions. I really enjoy reading everyone's posts. No more mac for me till April my wallet is crying!!! But I'm so happy I was able to get everything on my list. I'm loving DLG and MM l/g so far and still waiting for my other order to come.

Hey there! I've been suuuuuper busy at work and am just catching up on this thread (100 new pages!). My AG stuff was delivered Monday afternoon and I haven't had a chance to even try anything on yet. I'm wearing Strong Woman for the first time today (never swatched either) so that says how behind I am in actually using my stuff from all my recent hauls. *hangs head in faux shame* LOL I will take some pics this weekend and post them no later than Sunday.

SN: I wish I'd tried this Strength lipstick on earlier because I love how it looks on me and feel like I need a BU. Hopefully, SW will be in a CCO near me at some point this year.

Thks Copperhead. LC swatches of the pigments is what initially piqued my interest. I don't think I own the 239 brush. I will check tho and look into getting one since it seems I am going to be adding pigments to my routine. I love CMD piggie!!!!

Girl you aren't the only one. Sometimes I buy faster than I can use. The upside is I always seem to have what i need sitting in a kit or storage box somewhere.

I have a super big interview tomorrow with a company I really want to work for. Which AG lipstick should I wear? I got all 6 of them. Spoiled Rich or Caramel Sundae? Veronica or Betty? My outfit is black and creme colored. I can't decide.

Keep it neutral. it is more professional. Caramel Sundae, and light gloss. I'd probably skip lipstick so you don't have to worry about it fading.

Slightly off-topic, but just had to toss in that I've never understood why so many people get milk when a storm is coming. Bread I understand. But milk? If the storm is that bad, power outages are probably likely, and milk won't last long in a blackout! The only thing I can figure is that they're planning to be stuck at home for a few days (not giving a thought to the possibility of outages), and they want their milk so they don't have to go to the store when they're all snowed in?

Back on topic, I witnessed the glory of victory and the devastation of defeat at the MAC counter today. A woman asked for RR and got THE last one. She was soooo happy because she said it was sold out everyplace else she went today. Not 5 minutes after she left, a woman came up with her two kids and asked for RR. She said another counter in the same mall had called over to see if it was in stock. Well, it was in stock when she called, but by the time she got there from the other counter... well, I already told you someone got the last one. The disbelief and frustration was just heartbreaking to see!

Or maybe try the 242. Just something a little denser than the 286. And maybe try patting/packing it on rather than swiping to see what kind of results you get. Good luck!
