I appreciate the fact that you didn't intend for it to seem rude. I also appreciate the fact of you taking the time to reply back to me regarding this whole thing.
I do have to say, that I think this whole thing has gotten way out of hand. And I do also want to say that I have never had such a bad experience with a posting....ever. After a few hours of back and forth comments, I feel like I am back at work with a huge group of women. It can get very catty.

I truly do love makeup, but I don't feel like getting into it with any of you. I am sure we all must have better things to do.

Good bye.
Not been on teh interwebs for long?

I read through the posts re: uppercase posts and I couldn't for the life of me find anything that can be construed as "catty". And I can honestly say Specktra is easily one of the friendliest and most easy going online communities I have ever been involved in.

Come on peeps, group hug!

Oh just let her go. There are some people who just want to find confrontation everywhere even if there isn't any.

Though this seems delish, I really hope MAC isn't just going to release frosty paint pots from now on.

Me either I don't care for frosty paint pots. I really wish they'd have an all cream/matte paintpot collection in the near future.

Everyone talking about the pearlmattes they got from their AG hauls is making me even more antsy to see the ones in this collection! Really eager to try one and see how I like it. Seems like it'll be next to impossible to get b/us if you don't get them right away though, since everyone appears to be eyeing those babies.

Guys, come on. She's excited about the new collection like we all are! That was a little bit ridiculous to read you guys ranting at her not to type in capitals for this and that reason. Lets just forgive it and move on! Jeesh!

I love typing in CAPS lol....But, it is chatroom etiquette...If, I am really excited I type things in CAPS, but, people do get bent out of shape if you use all CAPS because, they do feel like your screaming or yelling at them....I didn't take offense. The color story is the breakdown description of products and like someone said we know some of the products because, they are repromotes...But, we pick what we want based off the description and since we know MAC products we choose what we want and then narrow it down when pictures are released etc

All CAPS is way easier if you are typing on a phone or small tablet

I think it's best to focus on what people are writing and not how they write it

I know, right? I like frosty paint pots as much as the next person, but I have to admit I miss creme and matte paint pots. There really aren't that many of them in the permanent line, so it seems like a higher priority to introduce them via collection. Alas, I suppose not. -shrug-

Now that I think about it, many companies that are coming out with similar cream eyeshadow pots have mostly frosty color ranges as well. Maybe something about the formula just makes frost easier and/or more appealing than matte finishes?

No it's not. I type on my phone all the time and it's just as quick. My phone always switches to capital letter after the full stop, I can just keep typing. Easy peasy.

I'm guessing that's why MAC is releasing the frostier finishes now. Loreal, Maybelline and other brands have at most 1 or 2 creme/matte finishes in their line.
The last time MAC did a major paint pot release I think I bought all of them, but I bought the matte/creme ones first and the frostier ones later. For the love of all that's holy can they please repromote Nubile!!!!

I don't think anybody was catty or rude. Anyway that wasn't the impression I got from anybody. I hope she does come back.

That's true but MAC needs to get the memo to do something different because people will like it and plus no one really has that type of product out so a lot of people will buy. Imagine how good an all matte/cream line/collection would do especially with wearable or bold colors. I know Maybelline just came out with the Metallics so maybe they will do one this Fall. I enjoy their colour tattoos a lot!

I don't mind frosty, but it's better (IMNSHO) to have a range of finishes.

Ranting involves ad hominem attacks (e.g., name calling) and rude, aggressive and/or provocative language.

I've been on the 'net pretty much since 1982 and i know a rant when i see one. I didn't see any ranting... And, after all, ranting in a no-rant zone is bad netiquette...

Lol idk if it's the girl in me that loves sweets but this line makes me want to really raid my kitchen or bake things lol But I as well can't wait to see the products for this line as I skipped the pearlmattes for Archie because these sound somewhat better IMO
