MAC x Archie's Girls (Betty & Veronica) Collection Discussion (February 2013)

I'm still debating Prom Princess. I have VERY pale skin with pink undertones and natural redness in my cheeks. I know that peachy tone blushes
work better to cancel out the redness but, there is something about that damn blush I just can't shake! Is there anyone out there that has Prom Princess
and is in the same skin range as me? Can you tell me if it worked for you? And how did you apply it?

I'm NC/NW 15 (pale but very neutral) and I love prom princess. I was concerned at first that it would be WAY too dark for me, but it's really not at all. It looks dark in the pan, but goes on subtly. I apply it lightly with my MAC 116 brush (just getting a little on the brush at a time), and then slowly build it up. It's a really beautiful blush, and from what I've read on here, it's especially nice for NW15s. Are you paler than that?

So my package which was ordered from mac on jan 30 is LOST. I will not be getting my items.i was told i would be getting the money credited back since the items are no longer in stock.SMH. Honestly i dont even want them anymore. I barely slept for 3 days waiting for the collection to come out from mac since theres always a surprise with them online,and almost 2 weeks waiting and wondering where my package is. I dont think ill be ordering L.E products from mac.com anymore ill just wait for one of the other stores.

that is HORRIBLE!!! I'm so sorry this happened to you. i can understand your frustration and i don't blame you. If you tell us the list we can help you get everything you wanted. I know you don't want it now but you may feel differently later on.

I really doubt it will make the redness worse. I sometimes have red cheeks (especially in winter), and what works for me is avoiding the pure pink blushes (like well dressed, for example). The baby pink blushes definitely make redness worse, for me. But, pinky browns or pink violets (like Prom Princess) are totally fine. Haha...yeah, I'm a definitely a bad influence!! But I'm glad you're gonna give it a shot...I think you'll really like it!

Today i use the Spoiled Rich quad , the Prom princess blush, the Veronica's blush as highlight and Daddy's little girl lipstick

I put the brush set on hold last night at my local MAC and just picked it up. It was the last one; when I heard, I think I made a noise like, "WHAWOHJFIOANHOHOLDHOLDHOLHODHJOJHOLDHOLD!!" It's my first MAC brush set, so I'm excited to see how it pans out. They're drying now.
