i was trying to search the thread for this, without luck...can anyone tell me a mac dupe for caramel sundae of the caramel sundae quad? looking through my collection, i thought amazon is pretty similar to dreammaker, if anyone has that...it was in one of the raquel welch quads.
Always sunny PLW shadow. I haven't seen CS in person, but it's definitely one of those caramel tans.

My Daddy's Little Girl arrived today and wow. Just wow. I wasn't really expecting to like this one as much as I do, I just got it because I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone; it was a total impulse buy. Let me just say that I am soooo glad I have no self control.

DLG is a beautiful, bright pink on me. Only a little trace of purple in there. It's creamy and moisturizing and I love it to bits. And the stain it leaves is gorgeous, too! I wore it out today and it lasted a good three or fours hours (I didn't drink or eat anything in that time, so I can't say yet how well it lasts if you do) and it left behind a beautiful bright pink tint when it wore off. I just topped it off with a little lip balm and my lips looked great the rest of the day. If you can get your hands on this one, do not let it go! I might have to call around to my local MAC stores and see if I can find a backup!

Than you very much for the swatches, bluelitzer!

I am glad that they are all very different.

I loooooooooooove these kind of "purple pics"

OK, i'm a day late. But here it is, as promised, Veronica's Feelin' So Good Lipglass and Venomous Villains Wrong Spell. Also starring Styledriven Dark as Night Pro Longwear Lipglass. Wrong Spell is a browner plum, Dark as Night is a deeper bluer plum, and Feelin' So Good is a bit pinker with a bit less glitter than the other two.

Left: Wrong Spell; Center: Dark as Night; Right: Feelin' So Good

Top: Wrong Spell; Center: Dark as Night; Bottom: Feelin' So Good

I'm curious and pretty excited as to how these will work as well!! I haven't seen brushes like these before until I saw these on twitter....also read an article where the models who they were used on in NY fashion week really liked them so that may be a good sign

So dillards still has the Pearlmattes so I've officially skipped. Am I the only person that just doesn't like that glitter look on cheeks? Maybe at night but not for me during the day

Thanks a lot for this! They do look very similar, so I'm not sure if I need both (I don't have LG). It's not like I don't have other red lipsticks either. Still, RR looks very nice and a little pinker than AP in the pictures (to my eyes anyway). Decisions, decisions...

From left to right:

Ronnie Red, Absolute Power, and Love Goddess

(I tried taking the pictures in diff. lighting, I apologize for the quality of my photo's)

Based on my hand swatches, I think they're all different enough to own them all. I'm not sure if their difference comes across the photo's but in person, I can see the difference.

Ronnie Red and Absolute Power could probably be in the same color family, but they're not the same shade.

I actually haven't worn Ronnie Red so I'm not sure how it looks once applied to my lips, but I do know that Absolute Power pulls more pink on me.

I like a good sheen but straight up glitter anywhere but my eyes or lips? Not so much.

Before the collection launched I played my usual game of going through all my shadows and pigments to see if I could mix up all the new colors (in an attempt not to buy every single color in the universe). When trying to match Lucky In Love I was really happy with just Teal Pigment + White pigment (the frosty one from Pro), and if you want to jazz it up a bit and make it mintier you can add a touch of Golders Green. But Cheers My Dear....everyone needs that one! The texture alone is worth the purchase! And you can add it to so many other pigments to smooth them out or tone them down. Might also be great to mix with Black Poodle to give the matte black base more of a shimmer and a touch more color.....

i detest glitter on my cheeks, but i didn't find the pearlmattes to be sparkly at all. maybe how they appear depends on skintone?

You had me at STAIN...I was lucky to get this when the official launch happened at a certain Southern US based dept. store whose name will not be mentioned here, too bad I was too late to get Ronnie Red but I think I can let that one go, been redded out for awhile now...and really, Runaway Red is my top gun (well, Port Red and Red Racer get love too.) I haven't tried Ruby Woo but its on my list to swap for one day.

I got my brushes last night, and I have to say that I am disappointed. I wasn't expecting them to be soo small (I don't know why though since they are travel brushes)! I used the 226 as a crease brush and it didn't work so well. Lesson learned that I will trust my first instincts instead of being swayed by reviews and pictures!

Aww, sorry they weren't what you expected. I wanted to get the set but it was sold out :(
