Strong woman looks so beautiful! Regret not buying it. I'm thinking about heroine but its too light for my taste of purple, I'm thinking I could maybe line with currant and that would make it a dark purple?

It may sound crazy, but I hope I will keep calm and check only the liners. I have way too many lippies already.

I just counted mine and I think 135 is a conservative estimate. Of course I counted some I am planning on swapping or selling but I really need to stay away from any I have similar colors. (which is almost any pink and maybe many of the purples). I am also going to ease off on getting BU's since I have yet to hit "pan" on any lipstick. Of course, there is always the possibility I will lose a tube--this lead me to BU Pink Pigeon. I am going to try and wait to see swatches before I get Ablaze, but I am thinking it looks fairly unique to anything I have at present. The e/s and lip liners I am going to focus my funds on this collection.

And TY Aquamarine for swatches, this means I should probably skip the Embrace me pencil, I think its dupeable & I have one from NYX that is similar, I think called Dolly Pink? S/T like that anyway...I bet the NYX experts could recommend a dupe.

Revised List (esp. since April is going to be crazy good)
Ablaze lipstick, liner and e/s
Heroine liner and e/s (unless there is a dupe in my stash for the e/s)
Silly e/s if there is one and the payoff is good
Embrace Me e/s only

Hmmm, how close are Violetta and Heroine really? I have Violetta and have been lemming Heroine for ages (because of the hype for it on these boards), but this swatch makes me think I might be able to just go with the L/g and liner.

I had both and i think on the lips the difference is noticeable especially since heroine is a matte.

This is so true for me. I have never finished one tube no matter how often I thought I use it. Even after my very young nephew found my Vegas Volt and squished it with impunity and left it a jagged wax stump a small fraction of an inch I still got good use out of it over a dozen times. It's still there waiting to be B2M'd.

I already have Heroine l/s but nothing wrong with a BU

So my list as of now includes:
Heroine l/s, l/g and l/p

Embrace me l/s, l/p and l/g

Still up and down on Ablaze...I've never tried an apricot color before so I may have to wait on a swatch.

Just Silly lipstick for me right now! It looks so gorgeous!

Embrace Me lipstick might be close to Pink Pigeon, which I have BUs of or it could be like Girl About Town, which is my one MAC lipstick nemesis; not flattering on me at all! So until I see more swatches it's off my list!

I haven't used up any lipstick either. That's why I'm planing to skip the l/s and l/g from this collection. Swatches should not change my mind. LOL Wish me luck!!!

I heard people say OCC Lip Tar in Hoochie is a dupe for Heroine. Does anyone have both? What is your expert take on this?

i put on heroine yesterday for valentines day and even though i do love the color i dont think i wear it enough to justify a back up. so thats one more item off my list lol

I just realized that MAC has released 2 different lipsticks already with the name Heroine. The first Heroine came out with the Wonder Woman collection!
