MAC x Archie's Girls (Betty & Veronica) Collection Discussion (February 2013)

Well, I think I'm finished with this collection. I finally ended up with:

Betty Bright x2
Oh, Oh, Oh
Kiss & Don't Tell
Ronnie Red
Daddy's Little Girl
Strawberry Malt
Mall Madness
Flatter Me Pearlmatte
and Veronica's Blush Pearlmatte

I was really surprised by what my favorite products ended up being. I thought for sure I'd be all about the coral lip colors, but Daddy's Little Girl and Oh, Oh, Oh ended up stealing the show. Not that I don't love everything else I got, but those two are really stand-outs for me, personally. Ronnie Red is glorious, but I just don't wear a red lip all that often. It will be amazing for special occasions, though!

I was kind of hoping to get Prom Princess, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. If I see it in stock at a local MAC or on a site that has free shipping, I'll probably get it. I'd also really like to find a backup of Daddy's Little Girl, but it's not a necessity. So that's my final haul! Oh, how glorious it has been.

I'm glad I didn't go for DLG, I don't think it would have worked for me..)

Still waiting for collection to come out on MAC UK :) but I'm only getting Cream Soda to add to my GND and BS l/s.

Prom princess looks great on NC15. I apply it with a Nars yachiyo brush--beautiful. You will want to use something softer, as it is very pigmented, but it looks very pretty with warm fair skin colors. I think the other colors you've listed are not as deep in tone, but I don't have Peony Petal so I can't be sure.

I went to the Archie event and it was sooo cute? Never been to an event, I went w my makeup done but they were like do u want ur makeup done? I just said play up my eyes she used a pearlglide and I loved it never used those so I went ahead and got that, lol and I walked out w the brush set. Oh yea got the cute little mints and pin
