MAC x Archie's Girls (Betty & Veronica) Collection Discussion (February 2013)

I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but I'm a little reluctant to go rifling through 371 pages to find the answer! What good quality lip liner, MAC or otherwise, would you guys recommend to use with Ronnie Red to make it look a bit deeper in color?

I haven't tried it, but I don't thnk it is like Nitro... wasn't that one more orange?

I think the pearlmattes make me oilier... would I ruin the finish if I put a loose powder on top of them?

I ordered a matching head scarf to wear with my AG goodies and received it yesterday

It is more a Veronica head scarf.I still need to find one for Betty!

It could be that they are still on their way. I don't know if Macy's store inventory still gets counted into the store's inventory when it leaves the DC, but it used to.

I looked too, even though I already have DLG! It is truly a beautiful color and it ended up being my favorite lip product from my Archie's haul. I hope you can get your hands on one! Have you tried calling around to random MAC stores? They'll ship to you from anywhere.

After playing with my newer purchases for a couple of weeks, I can officially say that Flatter Me is a blush on me. I suppose I could wear it as a highlighter, but I've got other I like better for that (Shell Pearl is my newest love). I'm so glad I bought FM; I still don't care for the packaging because it feels so juvenile (and I grew up reading Archie comics), but I love this pearlmatte. I'm not that pale (maybe NC22) and it's definitely pigmented enough to be a blush. I like it a lot better than Cream Soda, which just was too...well...peach for my warm tone. It was kind of flat on me. I prefer peachy tones that have a little pink, like Immortal Flower.

For anyone still thinking that Shell Pearl and Flatter Me are near dupes, they aren't.

My family has an upcoming vacation to Miami coming up, and this will definitely go in the bag along with the rest of my one and done hot weather products like paint pots. I think I might go get a couple of the new Benefit creaseless creams to take with me as well. Regular shadows just melt off me in the heat.
