yes i aplied lightly. before you wear betty bright, you should moisturize your lips first; apply lip balm leave it for like 5 min before you put on the lipstick.

I think they are pretty close in color. Absolute Power is a tad darker and a little more blue based. Ronnie Red is brighter and has a lot of pink in it. On my NW15 skin it pulls way more pink. It almost looks like a Fucshia Pink on me.

I broke down and bought RR even though I have AP, and I was surprised that they were different. I feel like RR is brighter and more flattering (I think I am NC30 though I don't use MAC foundation so I don't really know).

And thank you for the compliment! I love my eyebrows but right now they're giving me a lot of trouble. I'm trying to grow them out a bit in the front but since I've been plucking that area for so long, they're not cooperating, lol!
