Why am I so excited about a collection that exists only in our collective purple minds?

I don't know if I would really want a Prince collection but the thought of the names is kind of fun.

A blue lipstick called Computer Blue and a black pigment with maybe bronze shimmer reflects called Black Sweat. Purple Rain would be nice as a blush. Has MAC ever had any purple blushes? Other than Vintage Grape Ombre?

The more you guys talk about this, the more I want it so. If there had to be one last celebrity collection, I would be pleasantly satisfied with a Prince collection. The names are what's really selling me.

The Prince-inspired All of My Purple Life was a hit and the only Blogger's Obsession lipglass to sell out. You would think that MAC would've caught on and jumped on the concept by now. I do love the Graffiti Bridge eyeshadow, Black Sweat pigment, and Diamonds and Pearls powder ideas, ladies! We need a Specktra for MAC collection!

I can just imagine some poor soul coming across that mock up and posting in their blog about MAC's upcoming collaboration with Prince. Then other bloggers would take the faux info and pics from that person, and it would spread like wildfire until the horrible truth came out that it was all just a dream...

Remember in '97 when he did those tours they only opened up 3 days before the concert date? That is this collection. In the nature of Prince, it is a secret release that will not be advertised until 3 days before April 1st.
