What's interesting is how all the lipsticks except the dark lippie have a matching lip balm shade. I wonder if that blue lipbalm looks nice over that dark lippie. Just wondering why they selected blue and not match a lipbalm to the lipstick. Like, will the blue lipbalm bring some kind of duochrome-ness out of the dark, plummy lippie? Just wondering.
They did it with Archie's and VG Nicki 2. I have hope!
A friend of mine who works at MAC said the dark lippie is more brown, not very plummy. She also said its very sheer, both are a bummer for me.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm skipping the darker lippie. Maybe just a backup of LW, the blue lip balm & the PB pearlmatte. I'm still hoping for an actual violet blue or blue violet lipstick to be released from MAC soon. Maybe with the Rihanna collection and maybe, fingers crossed, an actual lavender blush.
All of that sounds gorgeous. I hope for the same! I want to see swatches of the peach lipstick, my friend said it reminded her of Playing Koi and if its like PK I'll be backing it up! My very last tube of PK is more than half gone now

I'm still interested in the lippies and the pearlmattes. MAYBE the lip balms...But, nothing in this collection is making me jump out of my seat in excitement. It just seems like the usual colors that MAC puts out? With the exception of the lip balms. I really miss the Quite Cute and Digi Pops collections. My personal opinion anyways

MAC MUA Gina B is saying this fall.im scared wit the bottle being so small i'll phk around n use too muchbut i'll give em a try! which one is best for my medium complexion?
i was interested in the blue gloss too but gloss already sheers it out sooo im sure it wont be like that opaque!
hmmmm im intrigued....but im sure it'll be a few more years before they come out

that actually makes me want it more, I have lots of plummy and raspberry colors and not nearly enough browns and i was disappointed in Hot Chocolate not being very chocolatey so this means I will want it (pending swatches don't make it look like poo lips)

Peacocky is very teal, not so blue. And isn't really a gloss, it's a "liquid lipstick", and quite opaque (i have it). But i'm sure you could make it blend with a lipstick - lip brush time!
I didn't get the blue-ish gloss from Fab Felines, Best of Breed, and i regret it, although not to the level of skipper's remorse. And there were a couple other blue-ish glosses I passed because they were soooo sheer.
I'd sure looove to see the old Blueberry Fizz lipstick come back...

I agree. I loved Best of Breed and I am thinking this will be less pigmented than that but any blue gloss goes on my must have list. Maybe we'll get our wish and get a really blue gloss or lipstick for layering--like a really pigmented Glaze or Lustre in a future collection. I have a whole collection of blue Mac lip things and other than Peacocky, which is a very specific kind of blue shade, they're all quite subtle. Blast O'Blue looks unreal in the tube, but actually applies as a blueberry-type tint. I've always thought that they should try a really deep blue, since it would actually be a little more wearable- people would notice the dark lip, but it would necessarily be as shocking as a bright blue lip. Best of Breed is nice, even on its own, as is Ethereal (even more subtle) and the lipstick Summer Shower, but I really would like to see Mac jump right into the big blue ocean.I am for having a Chocolate Eclair while ordering my PP of the same name.
