When it comes to men I've adopted two mindsets about them.  1. A man will give you all the rules of things he likes and swear up and down about them like they're the Ten Commandments. "I don't like girls with short hair blah blah blah." and if Halle Berry walked into the room with a teeny pixie he'd fling you into Rush Hour traffic like a bag of 10 day old garbage to get to her. Be yourself, men go for hotness period. If you're comfortable and happy you're more likely to be hot than if you're trying to be something you're not and miserable.  2. Something Dita Von Teese said about her unique look and how that factors into dating. This isn't a verbatim quote but she essentially said she simply stays true to herself and she finds that the men she would be interested in anyway are the ones who ask her out. Sounds smart to me.

THANK YOU! When I cut my hair for graduation it was about a inch long and super curly and my acquaintance told me while looking at a magazine with a woman who had short hair, "short hair is not beautiful, all women look better with longer hair." I looked at him and literally walked off! 2 years later I met the love of my life WITH my short curly hair so stfu! Lol. What comes out of peoples minds sometimes I wonder... But if I were a weaker woman I would've felt bad for myself. We are All beautiful! Let nothing define our beauty other than OURSELVES! End rant xDThanks Spectacular for this post!

Unfortunately not everybody is to be trusted and that's a shame! I hope it's not one of the specktra members who is not responding

But maybe he or she had a busy week so try to PM one more time or email the seller one more time. With ebay this is more common, and this is one of the reasons i'm not buying from ebay. I do hope you still will be able to get your lipsticks. And sometimes I wish mac made everything permanent. Or a big extra sale once a year where you can buy (or trade against reasonable prices) all your items you missed out on in order to complete your collection.

It is a Specktra member and has good feedback, she just stopped responding to me when I said what my location was (which is in my profile too). She was online 2 hours ago, I've sent a message yesterday and 2 days ago... I'm asking around on LJ now since I'm not getting good deals here. :) She'll have to get her money somewhere else!

A sale of items that were mysteriously stashed away! :D Ha!

I hope you don't mind, but i downloaded it and i'm using it as my desktop picture - and i'm not joking.

I have 124 pictures in my desktop picture folder and i have my desktop set to change every so often.

So once in a while i get Spider Surprise!

Spiders are GOOD! I only kill them when they're in bed with me. Otherwise i let them be, or occasionally catch them in my hands and toss them outside. I just have to be sure i'm not picking up a Black Widow or Brown Recluse, both pretty poisonous, and both found in California. I did kill two Black Widows, one near my washing machine and one in a kitchen cabinet - but they were quite a few years apart.

For a week there was a spider that persisted in building her vertical web between the two bushes on either side of my steps. I'd be leaving the house in the morning and there at the bottom of the steps, blocking my path, was this web that was about 6 feet wide and 5 feet high, but a couple feet up in the air, with a petite spider in it waiting for breakfast. I would carefully break the web on the side away from her and gently move it to the other side so she would land in the bushes unharmed.

This went on for nearly every morning that week, but eventually i guess she moved on.

There was a spider that would build a web every night in the outer doorway of our sunroom. And every morning the web would be gone. I'd stand there every night while the girls were out going potty and watch it build it's web. This happened daily for 2 weeks. Then one night, when it wasn't in sight, i used a broom and took the web down. It didn't come back :(

I let them be sometimes too. I figure they MUST be eating something lol and I know where the spider is at least. I could NEVER touch them though so they do get smashed. Are you sure brown recluse spiders are in Cali? One of my neighbors swore up and down she was but by one which scared me to pieces do to my children (I live near a forest) from what I could find it said they weren't located in California. Yuck black widows however I swear I got one sent to me. Someone sent me a play pin (I didn't even want) I opened it up to Craigslist and what do I see walk across the floor?! Black widow! Super smash!! With unessessary force lol >:)

Of course I don't mind lilinah. I didn't take that picture. The moment I see them, I get too scared and I don't have time to get a camera. If you like that type of spider just google the term "huisspin". You will find loads of pictures including that one.

I know spiders are useful, but especially this type of spider has creeped me out so many times that I really REALLY hate them. There is one type of spider that is my friend ever since I read that they devour anything, including the big ones. They even devour eachother when they are out of food. In Dutch they are called "trilspin" (latin name is Pholcus phalangioides).
Those are the ones that start trembling like crazy when their web moves. Long, really thin legs. I will not harm those. Unfortunately I got so creeped out with my numerous encounteres with those XXL ones I started using a Dutch alternative to Raid, so for now I am covered. I cannot keep spraying though, because the house will be covered in flies and what not. We'll see though...

Btw, you're a sweetheart lilinah. I love your stories.

Idk why people act like that I'm so nice lol
