MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

Heroine liner in the swatches looks to have a bit more purple than the MAC Magenta and NYX Purple Rain pencils. Maybe not though. I might just be seeing things. LOL.

I would love for someone to compare them to Heroine.

Can anyone compare Silly to Chatterbox? I love, love Chatterbox but if Silly is too similar, I won't need it.

Ablaze keeps hopping on and off my list according to which swatch I see

To be truthful I'll probably end up getting it.


Does anyone know of a nyx dupe for heroine liner?

I keep thinking purple rain is a dupe but heroine looks much darker.

In the interest of helping with possible liner dupes...

Purple rain nyx, heroine ls, magenta mac, nyx prune, then nyx bloom, dolly pink, orange liners In the sun you can tell magenta is a hint more fuschia than purple rain but pr is pretty close to heroine to help me nix it from my list Im assuming with the exception of possibly bloom the other liners will be close to silly and ablaze

Ablaze looks nice! Ill be skipping sounds like noise for it.. Also, does anyone think silly looks like VG Nicki? I didn't buy it because I didn't like it so I'm wondering if I should skip silly

I have DLG from AG, but I didn't have it when I was swatching in the store to compare it. I feel like EM and DLG are similar, but just in different finishes. Here's side to side comparisons, but they were both taken at different times. They were both swatched by me. DLG is on the left, EM is on the right.

DLG has a satin finish & EM has a matte finish.

No problem! I never tried Force of Love. Watch Me Simmer is lighter than Ablaze to me. Watch Me Simmer kind of washes out my skin color, but Ablaze doesn't seem to since it's more of a red-orange than a pink-coral-ish color.

I swatched Party Parrot on my hand and compared to the swatches I've seen if Ablaze. And I think their similar enough for me to pass. I know Ablaze is more red orange, but ED is going to kill my wallet so I got to be picky. Still planning on Heroine ls and liner. And Silly ls. NM....just looked at it again, they are pretty different...crap! Lol

I was one of them lol. It's just in the swatches I've seen it looks like it. But I'm going to take your word for it and get Silly. I love my light pinks, and I don't have any light pinks in the matte formula. So I'm excited!
