MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

Here is something I hope someone out there can clear up for mr. I have been checking on the MAC website all throughout the day yesterday and numerous times today. If I type in "Heroine" absolutely nothing shows up at all. It just goes to the screen showing different options to pick whether it be lipsticks, liner, etc. It does not recognize the word right now at all. Maybe it is a matter of where you live possibly? I am in Michigan. I stopped by a freestanding MAC store before heading off to work today. They said they thought it was going to break tomorrow. Hmmmm! If I type in "Embrace Me" the liner pops up (already have that in the cart), but it does not show anything regarding the shadows, lip gloss or lipstick. The same goes for "Silly" and "Ablaze" What do you guys think?

Depending on where you are Embrace Me might be left over from the Strength collection. It's not necessarily that it was already released, but that it was left over. It does the same thing for me, but I could always buy Embrace Me, it hasn't gone away since Strength.

I can dig what you're saying. Even more so for me is the INCONSISTENCY with so-called MAC "policies". I read on here where people have said that their counters have already let them pre-order, or have made a note of what to pull for them. Other counters, like mine, refuse to do any of that and tell you that you just have to come in on release day or, at the most, they might pull what you want if you call them the morning of the release. I agree that it's just gotten really ridiculous and is quite off putting. My MAC purchases have fallen off vastly over the past couple of years as a result. There are too many other gorgeous. quality products from other brands out there to have to go through the rigmarole with MAC.

I think this will be the last collection I basically stalk around for. And probably the last products I purchase from MAC for a while. Im not pleased with the process and preferential treatment the pro members get over the general public especially with this particular collection. The collection has barely been promoted (we're getting mostly buzz and speculation) and when its finally launched, you have to all but kill yourself just to get the product you've been eyeing(through leaked images).

Excuse my rant but I am not a happy loyal MAC customer right now.

Embrace me is left over from the Strength collection, I saw it yesterday listed as "coming soon".

i think everyone should have Embrace me in their collection. it has been repromoted alot and its a necessity for all those bright pink lipsticks. its just perfect.

Am really excited for both the lipstick and lipglass in heroine & ablaze, but tired of stalking... uughh...

I'll def. get Silly l/s. I don't think I have this kind of color.

Btw, Ablaze l/s is quite redder/reddish-orange or coral than I expected based on swatches.
I can't decide whether I should get it since I already have Watch me shimmer, Force of Love, Party Parrot and you name it. I mean they all are pretty reddish-coral undertone.lol
Does anybody have the same problem as me?

it looks very similar to atlantic blue. which i think sucks. maybe you can find a better shadow from other brands like inglot or makeup forever. and the other indie brand i cant remember now. SUGarpill !! lol

It's because it's not available online to non-pros at this time. As soon as it's up for non-pros, it will show when you search for the item. And it will be in it's own collection section. As for embrace me pencil, it's left over from Strength. It's still in stock so it's still on the site.

Yup! I don't think it's anything like atlantic blue. It's not as bright, and does have a purple tone to it, where AB doesn't. I've never had any issues with any matte shadow from mac, including AB.

I'd say continue stalking. I live chatted with them to ask about the Year of the Snake online release and they said it won't come out until a few days "by the end of the week" (that was a Tuesday if I remember correctly) and lo and behold I checked the page 2 hours later and it was there.
