MAC In Extra Dimension Collection 2013 (April 2013)

I'm going to skip this one. I may pass on BB. All I want is the Pink Buttercream pearlmatte and the Raspberry Swirl lipstick, but if I don't get to order it, I'll be fine with it. I am going to see if I can hold out until our Fall/Winter collections come around. Of course, if something comes out that is unique enough before then I will definitely treat myself.

While I'm waiting for this collection, I'm shopping for some products from the permanent line and I see that some of them are 'Out of stock - ships soon!'. Does it mean that I will pay shipping twice?

Nope! You order now and pay shipping once then when the back ordered items ship out they send you a new tracking number.

Does anyone feel like MAC wants Bloggers that are getting press samples to withhold info/swatches on this collection? It launching in 2 days but bloggers that do have products are not reviewing them. >_>

I think I'll be just picking up the 2 to 3 eyeshadows from this one, so long as they don't sell out online first because of the perceived quality ED formula. lol

I think MAC goes by the on-counter date rather than online releases. To them, this is still early.

Thanks for the correction...i think. Although it may be the past few collections have come out on time, there have been and i'm pretty sure will continue to be earlier releases. I also apologize if i wasn't clear in my original comment when i stated: "i think it's safe to say that MAC gives a certain date for release and as always, they come out online sooner...". The last time i was interested in a Mac collection it came out online earlier than the stated date. Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes regarding Mac cosmetics and dates.
They do sometimes come out early and then you have to scramble to try to find what you are looking for. The past few collections have been on time, so it's a bit easier to predict when you need to start stalking. I am tapping my foot being a psycho about checking for Extra Dimension to go up for Pro today.

I concur! It seems like Mac can, at times, be a bit unpredictable. I may just wait until it launches in store next week to get my goodies. If i do then perhaps it gives more time for swatches to come up, helping to make a better decision when i get to the store. I cannot stay looking around at the makeup counters...i go nuts and want everything i like lol

I'lll take a look at the skinfinishes and the brushes, but for now I know that at least a couple of blushes are coming home with me.

Maybe an eyeshadow but I would want to swatch those in person.

I think I'm getting all the blushes, the only exception may be Bareness. I THINK it's too light for my NC30 skin.
