I ordered ablaze and silly eyeshadow. Im more excited about ablaze shadow but of course that one is coming on tues grrr.

I ordered 2 more heroine liners from nordies and its on backorder but now im thinking i ordered too much in total.. Is 5 heroine liners too much?? I am a purple lip lover but i dont want to seem greedy

Well if you use Heroine lip liner a lot, then having 5 of them is perfect for you! I did that with Feline Khol Power Eye Pencil before it was made permanent.

Did I hear that this entire collection is going to be added to the permanent range?!

I got the rest of my shadows, + silly lipstick and pencil. I think heroine and silly are the most flattering on me from the lipsticks. That said, I'm lacking sleep, so my complexion may just be off! The shadows are all pretty, but embrace me and silly are my personal faves overall. However, I think em is similar to other fuschia pink shadows, just gotta check my stash. I like ablaze the colour, but it swatches a bit on the sheer side. Need to try it on the eyes. Unfortunately still in the middle of diy,so I might not get to swatches till the weekend. I still really like the not-entirely-matchy-matchedness of the shades... Now I want the nail polishes too. Think I'm being greedy!

Same here about my nordies order tracking is not showing anything. I think I might receive mine on Tuesday but I am just hoping. 

That's happening to me too. I don't know when I'll get it, but in a flurry I had everything sent to my old shipping address (my brother's). They're all going on vacation, so ladies, please keep me posted on when you get your nordies packages. Then, I'll know to stop by their place to pick it up incase there's no update between the Nordstrom/UPS tracking numbers.

I went to the counter today to pick up my backup of Ablaze and everything was sold out. There was a lady behind me that missed out on the collection and I overheard her saying she was sad she missed out on Ablaze to the SA so I let her have mine. I love it, but I don't need a backup of it. Happy it went to a nice home. Done with this collection.

Heroine had sold out at my counter in 5 minutes the SA told me.

It's kind of funny how the hype for LE products builds up when they are not available. Heroine lipstick actually stuck around considerably longer than others that were part of reel sexy, then gradually became highly coveted. I'm curious what would happen if watch me simmer or reel sexy came back...would they have the same draw as the first time around?

Its funny that you mention that. I think I liked Ablaze e/s because it looked nothing like the lipstick or liner. However I found that Embrace Me e/s tied in the best with the other products in its line.

maybe but Ablaze eyeshadow was the breakout star as far the eyeshadows are concerned

I got all 4 lippies and liners in the mail today. I was worried that Heroine would be a little dark/bold on my fair skin, but it's AMAZING. I am so glad I didn't chicken out on that one. Silly was originally the color I wanted most, but man that color is BRIGHT. I did not expect it to be nearly so neon.

I still have to test out Ablaze and Embrace me, only so many lip colors you can test out in one afternoon.

I have two Heroine Lipglosses and I feel like I want more. Am I being ridiculous? It is perfect for everyday and glosses are all I wear so................trying to find rationale before it is too late.

Rose was my first pigment! Years later, I still have plenty of it left, lol. Those things last forever.

Re: the little girl trying on the gloss....ick. I've seen that at counters too. The grossest was when I saw a little girl open a gloss and stick the whole wand in her mouth like it was a damn lollipop. I think I puked in my mouth a little. Definitely made the SA aware of that one! Also saw a woman trying on mascara straight out of the tester, no disposable wand or anything. A SA must have seen because she threw out the tester as soon as the customer left the counter. At least that was a relief. Such a sad waste of product.

Yes! It would look beautiful on you!!!! I was told it would look beautiful on me when I did a chat online with an artist!!! I loved it when I first tried it on and that was without a liner!! I was sure I would have to use a darker liner like magenta but the silly liner was perfect!!! I promise..you will love it!

You two are killing me! I'll call my counters and see if it's still available and, if so, go try it on and see what happens.

When i went into my local MAC a week or so ago, i asked a sweet SA there if she could hold Heroine lip pencil, lipstick, and lipglass for me, since they are no longer doing pre-sales. She said she'd have to ask the manager, but since i buy so much from them she figured it would be OK.

So when I went into the store yesterday to test In Extra Dimension (

) and see if the Fashion Set eye shadows were in, i asked if my H-stuff was waiting for me. And i found out the manager had not given the OK... my heart was pounding in fear. So i said i'd show up before opening today... Skipping the details, between the two of us, i got my three Heroines today. Whew!

I skipped everything else.

The other lipsticks are just too bright for me. It isn't that i'm conservative or hesitant (heck, i go out wearing blue or green lipstick). It's just that those kinds of colors, as well as strong reds, really do not look good on me. They make me look like a fashion victim. In an attempt to wear bright lipstick, I got Force of Love when the Chenman collection was released, and it takes an awful lot of work to get it to look even vaguely passable on me.

And it isn't a question of "owning it" and wearing it proudly, like i mean it. For example, I'm wearing Firm Form today with an undercoating of Handforged. I can pull off dark lips just fine. They work well with my coloring, nice and dramatic. Other people may think I may look weird, but it's a look i can wear and own without hesitation. I'm just not made for intensely bright lipsticks, they wash me out.

As for the Fashion Set eye shadows, i was hoping i'd like them, because i do wear reds and oranges and bright pinks on my eyes. But i'm not a huge fan of matte shadows, and none of these gave good coverage or good payoff. Embrace Me and Ablaze were the best, Silly came in second, and sadly Heroine was a distant third, looking the worst of the bunch, very uneven and patchy. I have lots of pink eyeshadows, some almost-reds, a few nice oranges (Maybelline Color Tattoo Fierce n Tangy and MUFE #18, among others), and a nice rich blue (MUFE #159), so i could pass on these eyeshadows without feeling bad.

And while the nail polish colors were OK, I have enough polishes for now.
