I got up super early this morning to head to MAC before work. Ended up with all the lipglasses (plus a Heroine back up) and lip pencils, 3 lipsticks (I already have Heroine from Reel Sexy, Seductive Intent from Taste Tempations, Strong Woman from Strength AND Hoochie lip tar from OCC, planning on picking up Violetta at some point in the future, so I'm good for purple lippies for a while), and 3 nail polishes (skipped Silly). Phew! I pretty much have skipped everything since just after Christmas/before New Years.
Looking forward to rocking some bright lips, just wish the weather would warm up a bit more because I hate having to wear my big winter jacket or scarf and worry about getting makeup transferred on them. Also got my bangs cut back in so I'm wearing less eye makeup (I've got hooded eyes too so it's not like much shows anyway).
Good luck to everyone who is still on the hunt. I always think that I'm done with the MAC LE item chase but somehow I always get sucked back in.

This was supposed to be a teeny tiny haul for me, I was going to B2M for Embrace me and Silly l/s and buying Silly l/l, that did NOT work out for me. I fell in love with Ablaze even though I don't normally like orange-y colours... I got the lipstick, lip liner and the gloss, then I got Embrace Me l/s and l/g and Silly l/s l/l and l/g AND I got Heroine l/s and Silly eyeshadow. I have a serious problem.
Although, I'm so glad I tried on Heroine and Ablaze because they are the kind of colours I think I can't pull off and I am in love with both of them!!

they were released in stores today. i hope you were able to find the lipsticks. I only purchased one liner and it is the embrace me one.

Oh yes!! The pics don't do it justice! It's such a lovely coral/orange. It's beautiful on it's own. And it looks amazing with Ablaze l/sThey look great on you! Backing it up is a wise choiceDo you feel like the l/g is a must have? I keep going back and forth over it.
hahaha i know right? I have been telling myself this past week i don't need the matching l/g & l/l but i'm still wondering about them.

I'm slightly upset that ablaze looks almost exactly like WMS on me...I like WMS but I was hoping for it to pull more red
On the bright side, Heroine looks really similar to SW so now I just have lots of this beautiful colour!

So I went to two diff MAC's in search for heroine lip liner because I have this nagging feeling that I should at least see it in person lol My two attempts were complete fails! The MAC store was out of it and the lipstick. The counter was also out of it. Sigh, that's what I get for ignoring my alarm in the am. I knew it wouldn't be available since it was already 12 when I went.. They both had magenta as the replacement but I didn't even bother.

folks slept on heroine last year when it came out-surprisingly, but i think with the trend of purple lips within the past few months sparked anticipation for the return. PLUS i think heroine was overshadowed w/the love for WMS n the Hey Sailor Coll. but i've been in loooove w/heroine since the RS coll n always repped it as an awesome MUST have.
