I'm still waffling on Ablaze and would appreciate some honest feedback (negative is fine)! Hubby doesn't like it and mother loves it. I'm ambivalent, but getting more used to it. Crappy phone pic in natural light. Ablaze l/s, Throw Me a Line l/l Too bright? Too pink? Note: These extreme close-ups that capture every pore are going to be the death of me. Eek!

I think it looks great. I'd definitely keep it. If I always listened to my husband I'd be much less put together than I try to be. I respect his opinion but everyone has one and honestly u have to do what u like.

I questioned myself this after swatching it and speaking to a SA. It has nothing alike to what MAC permanently has. It's a light pink that has a yellow tinge to it. If comparing it to anything MAC has, the closest I'd say is Hip 'N' Happy (which is lighter and more cool toned than Silly lip pencil).

thanks for this. Heroine is more grape, less red. I don't know WHO they were trying to fool with that eye shadow.

It's like they didn't even try to match the set.

Went and picked up my items on hold after work today and someone jacked me for one of my Heroine lippies. I know this because last week I went in to check and make sure my SA set aside everything I asked for, and then the bag was stapled shut. No one's copping to it though. Not.Cool.At.All.

That's awful. I hope you get it resolved. I ordered 2 Heroine glosses from Nordstrom yesterday and haven't picked them up yet. I need to make sure I go today.

How do you feel about heorine eyeshadow? I swatched it yesterday and I didn't see alot of pigmentation.

I picked up Ablaze, Embrace Me, and Heroine lippies....my fav is definitely Ablaze

I'm in the minority here, but I actually don't like the color of Heroine on me. I'm not a fan of purples that lean too red on me. I'm wearing it today with a tiny drop of OCC Rx lip tar and I like this combo much better.

Audrey C - I agree with the others :keep the lipstick, it looks GOOD! You probably just need to get accustomed to seeing the colour on yourself, but judging from the photo, it suits your skintone!

Yeah...the husband thing? I asked his opinion but he doesn't like Sail la Vie or Yung Rapunzel either. I love both and feel good in them, so I wear them. I think he's reacting to bright, personally. He likes more natural makeup.

Erine, the lippie is definitely brighter than it looks in the pic. I'm not sure why it looks so muted.

Anyway, I've decide that I like it so I'm keeping it. Thanks for enabling.

South coast plaza nordies and Mac Pro seem to have all lippies but heroine. But that could have changed by now. I could have my ablaze and silly right now but I ordered online w the restock. Figures lol. But so long as I get them no biggie. Mac better ship lol. Hth and again sorry for bad quality swatches. My first time posting them. Btw I'm nw 18.

An amazing set of swatches!! Silly is so gorgeous!! For sure getting 2 of those babies!! And Embrace Me is so stunning too!! Not sure if I want 1 or 2 yet.. Haha!!

Ladies and gentlemen, here is my question. I have Watch Me Simmer, Morange, Lady Danger, Sail La Vie and Wet 'n Wild Purty Persimmon. I am considering Ablaze, BUT is there anything close to any I currently have or I can mix with? If so, I'd rather save my money for the EDSF. Thanks!

I would say it's closest to Watch Me Simmer. I have both and they swatch the same on my lips. The only difference is the texture.
