Gotta step in here and say the way your Blooming Lovely looks in comparison to your LW is exactly how they looked for me when I tried the new LW (compared to BL, too). Maaaaaaybe the new LW was a tiny tiny hair lighter than this old one, but it sure wasn't less purple that your swatch. I'm guessing the sort of light you had when you took this photo was more like the light I tried everything on in than the hardcore bright studio light that T uses.

Anyhow, said it before and will say it again - this LW will make people happy! No need for lavender lovers to skip.


ALSO: Congratulations on your wonderful wedding day, MacJunkie!!! You look very very happy in your avatar photo!

Sorry this is late. I've been having computer and iphone issues.

I used natural sunlight for my swatches! I'm going to get the new LW just to see. I have love for all lavenders.....even if they lean more pink! :)

I wanted to but I'm afraid it might look corpsey on me. And I stopped looking for nudes in MAC's line after I found my HG nude lip color in NYX soft matte lip creme Istanbul (pink nude) and Stockholm (nude nude/mlbb) and those shades don't make me look corpsey at all. NC 30 for reference.

I like what I've seen from the swatches but I'm unsure if it will look good on my NC45 complexion. It would be a unique addition to my collection though...
