MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

How exciting!!! I wish the US site would restock those...I love them so much, I actually want a b/u of each one! (And I've only ever backed up two other lipsticks ever.)

That is so effin' cute!!!! I want one! I don't even care if there's lipstick in it...it's just adorable!!! lol!

There is always hope. Sometimes they do a sneaky restock when they release a new collxn, so be on the look out for that. I'd love to try the Heroine lip gloss and BU the lipstick. I think I want an Ablaze BU also but Party Parrot could hold me for that. I almost never BU lipsticks but I get paranoid I will lose the original or it will melt or something like that. I lost Pink Pigeon once and found it weeks later inside a jacket pocket, I was in panic for a while there so as soon as they did a repromote, I snapped up a BU. Its cray cray I know but beats having to pay outrageous evil bay prices later if one loses a precious.

More importantly, it was in the permanent slot, and I was told that the Fashion Sets were going to be permanent. I remain skeptical, but it'd be great if they were permanent.

I could be wrong but somewhere erine had said it will not be permanent. And usually if something is permanent and goes out of stock online it says "out of stock - will ship soon" and it doesnt say that with these. Again dont quote me on that lol i could be wrong since i havent spoken to any mac representative. As a matter of fact i should go and do a live chat... Lol

nope! it doesnt look right on me like it does on others.. I should've not bought it! ahh oh well, lesson learned. You have the lip pencil as well right?

Yup! I can work with the pencil though. I tried it with one of my nude lipsticks and it works. Lol.

I just had to share ladies. My daughter came in while I was putting on Silly yesterday and she wanted to try it out. She loved it! She was so funny, she kept making this kissy face to show of her lipstick. She's 4 and she thought she was hot stuff.

Hey girls,is it necessary to BU a lip pencil if you are gonna BU another lipstick? (I know, it's like saying if you gotta ask then you can't afford it right?) But I'm not getting anything from the Baking Beauties collection & probably not until Christmas when there are the sets... And I love using liners. (Tho most recently I lost Plum l/l. My favorite pencil in the world. )

All true! I checked for a restock when I placed my BB order, but no luck there. Even if it doesn't restock (or it does and I miss it) I'll be okay with it. I also have Party Parrot, although I don't remember it looking anything like Ablaze on me. I'll have to check that out. I know people have done side-by-side swatches of them, but I feel like they look distinctly different on me. Mission for the day: rediscover PP and compare to Ablaze.

As for Heroine, I already have Violetta, Strong Woman, and Seductive Intent, so I'm okay on purples. And with the 70-something (last I counted) lippies I have, it takes me forever to finish one since I'm constantly wearing different colors every day. So maybe I won't go crazy stalking for backups. I can just put that money toward the summer collection instead!

OMG! She is adorable. She has the most beautiful chocolate brown eyes and soft looking hair. She looks angelic. Silly lipstick looks so natural on her!

Thanks!  She definitely is a silly girl so it's fitting.  Her other favorite is Candy yum yum, she loves the name and the bright color.
