I guess they would have to be bigger though in order to get a good overspray going on and I don't know why I'm so surprised at the price. ($41 for a blush duo vs. $48 for a LE blush duo). Maybe, because I already know I'm in trouble with many of the other collections coming out in May.

I'm really sad the blush is really $48.

Even if I'm a big fan of NARS (esp, their blushes) for many years, I can't accept they release $48 blush.
It makes me feel it's just a rip-off just because it's a collaboration item!!!

Too expensive (compared to regular NARS items) unlike MAC.
Maybe I'll just skip this collection or get only Boys don't cry blush.

I am 100% convinced Temptalia has got the right prices, simply because they fit with official European prices. Also because she very probably got her info directly from NARS.

yes, either way it's too high. I don 't need a jumbo NARS blush. My first one lasted about 7 years. My daughter uses her Danmari palette daily and she's only almost out of the highlighter. The bronzer broke so it's gone, too. That leaves 4 other shadows with no pan.

$41 for the blush is better than $48 but, it's still too much. Too bad the design is an overspray, if it wasn't, I could maybe talk myself into paying $41.

Thanks for all the info on the blush. I was puzzled why it is called a palette when there is only one shade, and also how big it actually is. I'm excited to see the nail polishes! I like this collection more than the summer collection.

I love Nars for many years, but I usually don't like their collaboration items cuz they're too "expensive" regardless of quality.

(but their quality is usually not good compared to their seasonal/regular ones, based on my experience.)

Yes, but why would you want that HUGE palette of a single color? It really makes no sense to me. Maybe if it was your one an only blush you planned to use for the next few years, but otherwise I'm not seeing the purpose. They should have split that big pan with both colors. I would have paid the price then with few gripes.

If the blushes are indeed in pans as big as a cheek-duos then the price makes more sense.

Maybe if it was your one an only blush you planned to use for the next few years, but otherwise I'm not seeing the purpose. They should have split that big pan with both colors. I would have paid the price then with few gripes.

I get why a blush so big is just not what works or makes sense to you. But personally I don't mind a big blush because it will probably still be good in 10 years if it's stored properly. I don't have a lot of blushes, so maybe that's why I don't mind a big one. I just have to *really* like it. On the other hand, 39€ is a bit steep for a blush. If it performs well and swatches beautifully, I'll think about getting it.

I used one pan of NARS Outlaw for 7 years and didn't own another blush during that time so I couldn't imagine how long a jumbo NARS blush would last me.

I had no idea a regular blush would last so long. I mean, the blushes I have look like I've barely touched them and they're not new, but still.

I didn't use it everyday, but the quality is so great I never had to use a heavy hand nor did I need to reapply. My daughter eventually stole it from me and she said the same thing. She didn't have to touch up like she did with cheapy blushes. I still may get one of these jumbo palettes if the color is really pretty on me, but it will need to be extremely flattering and I'll need to try it in person.

Sometimes the larger pan for the blush is just nicer to get to pigment onto the brush ie. a nice large brush.

I love NARS blush, but I wouldn't value a larger one. I've worn both Deep Throat and Douceur to death since getting them both last summer and they have a faint dip. None of my others show any wear at all. It's the same as the larger MAC mineralize lippies (only they have a shorter shelf life); I don't want a larger one that costs more when I likely wouldn't even finish the regular size version.

I don't mind a reasonable price increase for a special product, but this is just too much and a larger blush would be a pain to carry in my purse for touch-ups. I'm going to pass. Too bad - the colours look lovely.
