MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

Thanks Ladies...I tried on every lipstick I own last night and discovered some new faves. I have been wearing revlon lip butters and now its time to venture back into the world of bright lips. I just need to get ahold of a coral lipliner.

I just realized...Temptalia posted swatches of these eyeshadows, but never did a review on them, I wonder why.

What she said! My 3 year-old likes to raid my stash when I'm not looking. From time to time, I'd find a lipstick or lip balm ruined because she forgets to twist them down before putting the cap back on. Thankfully, they're all drugstore and indie lippies. I hide my MAC!

I know she's going to be a MU lover/addict as she likes to watch me swatch new products and go, "Oooh! Pretty!!!"

I said this in the thread a while ago and nobody seemed to understand what i was going on about, they suggested i try i lipliner with it which made absolutely no difference. loathe it. Just sell yours off.

Im with all you guys, except I didnt even buy it...its was hard to walk away from it though, it looks so pretty on the tube but after "betty bright" Im not falling for that again. I swatched it in store after the fact just to make sure and it looks super chalky and dry eww

I just had to share ladies. My daughter came in while I was putting on Silly yesterday and she wanted to try it out. She loved it! She was so funny, she kept making this kissy face to show of her lipstick. She's 4 and she thought she was hot stuff.

LOL, how cute it really is a great color on her.

I'm new to this Specktra and let me say I am so happy to have found it! I bought 3 heroine l/s and 1 heroine l/p. Love love love it! Bought Ablaze but sent that bad boy right back. It looked horrible on me. :-( Maybe I will get my hands on Embrace and see how that works.

Lucky you! I definitely do vampy and i wish it went that way on me.

I knew Heroine would lean fuchsia on me, but fortunately in part due to its finish, it's not too too pink. I'm playing with various blue and dark lip liners to work it more in the direction i prefer. I've got a lot more experimenting to do, but i'm not sorry i got it.

Well, yesterday in the mail, i got a flyer from MAC for Fashion Sets... Just a tad late, i'd say. However, it was promoting the eye shadows, which are still hanging around, so i suppose there was some method in their madness.

My daughter is 2 &a half and if she can ever get her hands on my makeup, she will do it. I have to keep my makeup up at the top of my closet which drives me kind of mad, but at least it's safe. Once, I left my purse out and Cut a Caper was in there...She definitely found that one and put the lid back on when it was all twisted up and smashed all of the product.

Whenever I get my black boxes &start swatching, she puts her hand out and tells me to put it on her. Like yesterday with my In Extra Dimension package...she had me swatch every single product on her hand. It's funny sometimes. I remember being young and getting into my mom's makeup. I put blush on the way you see some dolls have it on, in a circular patch on the cheek. I remember my sister coming in and laughing at me. I was so offended. haha..

Hmmm, i passed on Narcissus, 'cuz i though it looked too warm for my personal taste. I do have Flaunting It Kissable Lip Colour and now i'm wondering how close they are. Kinda off topic, sorry.

I've taken Rebel off my wish list because it's more berry red than i prefer. And i'm gonna break out Force of Love l/s and l/g and try to get used to them this season - now that i'm getting more used to matte and bright lippies.

I know, right!??! When Candy Yum Yum first became permanent I asked about it at the counter and they were all clueless about it!! It's funny that us on here seem to know more than most of the people working at Mac!!
