MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

This is what Heroine looks like on me. I got it last year, it's depotted along with many other Mac lipsticks in an attempt to make space... (Which kinda backfired because I now have the same amount in their tubes again ¬¬ haha)
I love the colour but I don't wear it often, I like to know that I have it for certain occasions or if I want to mix it with another shade!!

I got Maybelline Mirrored Plum AND MAC Heroine lipglass. On me (neutral 15-20, fairly strongly blue-pink lips), while they are close, they are not the same, although perhaps on some other skin/lip tones they will appear to be.

Mirrored Plum is a lighter color, perhaps a tad greyer because is has more opacifying ingredients. It has a slightly fruity odor, but no flavor. I really dislike fruit flavored lip gloss, but this is just a hint of scent that dissipates fairly quickly.

Heroine l/g is a tad warmer, however it is much more pigmented and i think that because of the additional pigments (rather than opacifying agents) it has more depth and richness of color. This l/g has the standard hint of vanilla scent.

I'm still looking for that furshlugginer camera so i can show rather than tell.
