Undertone triplets!!! I follow a lot of what you guys like/don't like...I think new LW looks better on you too, from your pictures. Old LW looks a little heavy textured (like, too thick and pasty) and the white undertone is too heavy. New LW looks much fresher and lighter.
Thanks for posting! Based on your photos and your descriptions of what works on you and doesn't, we have very similar undertones, even though our skin tones are different. Undertone-twins?
It's got more of a white base than RS or LW, but it's not sludgy white - did you have Playing Koi? It's a little more easy to deal with than that one.
I'd say if you're looking for a nice pale nude along these lines, you should test out Luxe Naturale Mineralize lipstick. That one is really flattering - kind of a mix between Salute and Cozy Up, but with more of a non-heavy looking texture - very light and suitable to the color. I only bought Posh Tone out of that line, but it's really worth the extra dollars for the moisturizing (it's very long lasting on me too - I can eat and drink like a hog with it on and it stays looking just fine). Not greasy like the Estee Lauder lipsticks, either - it feels somewhat like the Kissable Lip Colours feel, but with a buttery moisture aftereffect. The only other one I really liked was Luxe Naturale but was holding off, since they had plenty of stock for it. I really didn't care for the bright colors in that range - nice colors, but somehow they didn't work with the texture so well. I didn't try the vampy colors or the reds, since lord knows I have plenty of those without buying perm products. If anything I'll snag the LE colors coming out in the summer Mineralize collection!
I'm beginning to think, that undertones can matter more than the color of your skin.
