Good to know ladies. I guess I should stick with What A Blast, Entertain Me & Lasting Sensation??

I agree. I received my SLN Saturday and I already had GO but I noticed that it is more yellow too. I only tried SLN once on my bare butt face with no liner, but I think I'll try it with entertain me then. We'll see how that works out.

MAC had a lip pencil years ago that was the most perfect orange---oddly it was called Rust and I really wish they would bring it back----or create a comparable orange lip pencil.
I played a bit more with some orangy lipsticks and lipliners on my hands and when I use Lasting Sensation on top of Genuine Orange it creates a colour very close to SLN. I wish Mac had a lipliner this colour, because although I can create it myself, I don't feel like applying two lipliners and mixing them together. It seems like a lot of work and I also think I would apply too much product.

Thanks this is very helpful! Process Magenta looks a lot like Moxie here.
Now I want Entertain Me. I thought it would be the same as What a Blast and I thought WAB was too bright when I swatched it in store, but since it's not I'm going to order it. I like to fill in my lips with liner and not just use it around the edges. I love lipliner so it won't hurt having yet another one right?
PM combines well with Moxie too. I love my lip liners. I wear liner 99.99% of the time. Nice 'n crisp... I think Entertain Me is probably more useful than GO. Nice to have both, but if I had to choose one it would be Entertain Me...

I think you'll live if you skip GO. Perhaps it combines well with Tangerine Dream of AAO? That would mean the end of the sheer finish though...

Ok I'll get PM too, sounds so pretty! I can't wait to try Entertain Me. I also ordered BU of SLN and I got Lady Danger today.

Did you wear any other shadow with DD? Glad you got SLN so we don't have to hear your skippers remorse-like whining.

With you on both counts. Love SLN, not sure about DD.

DD's nice but in a meh sort of way. I got it because (1) I'm a Veluxe Pearl h00r and (2) I thought it would be a less in-your-face version of Sugarpill Asylum (Asylum can be a bit too much sometimes lol). Well, it kind of is a less in-your-face version of Asylum but now I wonder why I bothered because I can get more or less the same effect when I blend the crap out of Asylum.

I dunno, maybe I'll change my mind when I play with it a bit more. So far I only wore it along the lower lashline (the rest of my eye makeup was light neutrals) and if I wear colour along the lower lashline I want it to POP. I can't say DD did much popping.

Thanks I already put it on and yes love it!
I would be surprised if you didn't. We're lipsticktwins taste wise. The first time I saw LD was worn by a SA at the pro store in Amsterdam. Blond hair, nude eyes, simple cheeks and LD. I couldn't take my eyes off those lips. I got LD shortly after that.

Haha yes we definitely are lipsticktwins taste wise. I'm trying to get some permanent lipsticks from Mac. I was trying to find some neutral lipsticks, because I already have so many bright, but I always fail and get another bright

Fanfare is one of my favorite toned down lippies. Brightens your face without being loud (at least compared to the usual brights I wear ;) Not really neutral but very pretty! Modesty is a good one too.

I've seen those too, but I think I prefer something like Angel for a light neutral or Mehr for a darker neutralish colour. I often think they are too boring type of colours, but then I think it's nice to have some for when I do bright eyeshadow. Ow well I guess I'm fine with the neutralish lip colours I have and keep on buying the brights.

Waiting for you to come up with something amazing here Buick

. Try it with your neutrals, your fav brown in the crease and a wash of DD above the crease & blend well, and even down to the crease so DD is just peeping at at you. I don't know how you feel about peeping vs. popping.

Oh I dunno. What you describe sounds amazing, but I can't see myself wearing it (just like I love sharp tailoring on other people but I feel like I'm in a straitjacket when I wear tailored stuff). It's all or nothing with eye makeup for me, so if I wear colour I want it to be true to pan. DD is pretty subtle by my standards anyway so if I were to blend it well it would probably disappear into a nondescript blur. Even worse, I could end up with my archnemesis, "sheer wash of colour". *shudders*

Peeping's for cowards. It's pop or die trying

I tried SLN with GO again. This time I applied GO less intense and patted it into my lips with my fingers. I like the combo a lot better now. I'm also wearing a different blush (Shape the Future) and that might help as well.
