I really wanted Cut a Caper from Heavenly Creature. But i ordered Pleasureseeker by accident - i stupidly got the names confused (they have the same number of syllables) - and PS really does not work for me. It's too orange, whereas Cut a Caper is pinker, coral-er, cooler, and i can wear that. I definitely need to add Cut a Caper to my wish list here on Specktra...

I passed on Flamingo in the Iris Apfel collection, but now it's on my list from this collection along with Razzledazzler, as well as the new coral colored blush. No other Orange for me.

If I skip the grey quad what are some must have greys from the permanent line?

Perhaps Soot and/or Print? Both of these are darker greys.

ETA: Also take a look at Copperplate. It's kind of like a greyed taupe.

I have soot and copperplate. Im thinking about b2m for print since its lighter than soot. I like the idea of having the grey shadows with orange lips but i think this collection should have at least came out with 2-3 individual orange shadows

I bet they did it this way to make more of a visual contrast on the display and to differentiate it from the Fashion Sets and Haley collections.

I think there will be more orange eye shadows in the fall for sure - maybe even a quad. I get a kick out of how when this collection was announced, a lot of folks here were saying "why is this collection all orange - orange was so last year". I knew that last year was just the tip of the iceberg, to get your toes wet with orange and this year would be the year when everyone was finally ready for all the orange MAC could throw at us.

At least 2 or 3 orange shadows ALONG WITH the grey quad would've been cool.

I probably have all the orange shadows I need though.

Ooo orange for the fall. Sounds delicious. I wonder if its possible to have an orange shadow with a greyish tone to it. A nice smokey orange

Yea keep the grey quad but add a few individual orange shadows sprinkled in there lol Oh i know i have all the orange shadows i need. I just want more!! But i dont want similar colors to what i have lol i really dont know how many variations of orange shadow exists

Yup you were right... I snubbed my nose at it... Now I think I want most of it. LOL

It's one of the best shadow colors on me, so I usually snap them up if they're not too pastel and I use them all the time. I don't think people really realize I'm wearing orange; it just makes my eyes stand out so well, I think that's all they're really noticing unless they're analyzing me like The Terminator.
