That looks so pretty on you!

I tried mine on just a few minutes ago. It didn't look nearly as nice on me by itself. This is where having a ton of makeup comes in really handy! I ended up putting "Boundlessly Beige" Pro Longwear Lipglass over SLN to change it up a bit. Please excuse the rest of my makeup. It was a very L-O-N-G day. I am pooped. Anyways, here is my final lippy:

I adore this lipstick! I like it better than red on me, personally. I would love the same color Ina different finish. Hoping for it in all about orange collection!

Okay, so I'm not a fan of posting my pics but I gave my word.  I have not yet used the eyeshadow but I'm enjoying Sounds Like Noise & Riot Gear.  I topped RG with Dior's Crystal and Gel topcoat.
You are so beautiful!

It's funny you say that b/c I found Ablaze to be very wearable with a gloss, but SLN was ehhh. I'll have to work with. I feel like I'm the only one who didn't love it.

Different strokes MissTT. I happen to love SLN but I wanted it to look more like the HW NP, Riot Gear. So, I used a base of OCC's lip tar in Banjee. I'm not at all fond of the lip tar on its own but as a base for SLN it's tolerable and does wonders for SLN.

I haven't tried layering my lip tars yet. I should. I picked up the pro set and only like 2 colors. Grandma and Melange are unwearable. I need to figure out what to do with them as far as liners, mixing, or layering.

You might want to try using a gloss over top to kind of change of the color a bit to make it more wearable. Another thing you might want to try is by either/and using the clear lip tar to sheer out the color a bit. That really helps. Another way would be to use the white lip tar to soften the color. I hope that helps!

someone on here also mentioned wearing a stick balm type of thing underneath to make it less chunky....

I couldn't make Ablaze work on me no matter how much the MUAs raved about how great it looked. I ended up selling the lipstick and kept the gloss and liner.

This was me EXACTLY. I tried everything. I ended up exchanging it for the Nars Pierre Hardy blush in BDC. I also kept the liner and gloss though.

Me too! Thankfully, the MUA tried Ablaze lipstick on me in the store, and I gasped in horror when I saw it on! It just looked awful on me--it went this sort of dark dense reddish- orange, and super-dry looking. It wasn't at all the pretty shade that it looks like on people on here. But the gloss and liner are great. Ronnie Red from the Archie collection also looks really bad on me, which unfortunately I bought, and can't come up with a way to get it to look good on me. On me, it actually isn't red at all but a dried-out looking fuchsia that looks really harsh against my skin.

I have not yet worn my Ablaze lipstick. I have the lip pencil but skipped the gloss because I have too many glosses already that go unused. Now I'm getting nervous about the Ablaze l/s!
