It drives me crazy that the lipsticks are sold out and there seems to be no chance of me getting lavender whip and raspberry swirl (but especially lavender whip). Augh MAC really needs to limit stock per order or something. I'm new to it and it's unfair. /sounds selfish

I'm new to the game too and I agree it does stink that it is so hard to get a hold of this stuff. I managed to get raspberry swirl but wasn't so lucky with LW. Thanks to some ladies on here, I ordered it from Nordstroms as they have had them on back order on and off. Right now it looks like they might be sold out of LW but RS looks to be available. If you jump on it you may be able to catch it and who knows, maybe LW will be back in stock again soon! http://m.nordstrom.com/Product/Details/3516875?categoryid=60137855

One trick you could try without buying a kabuki (I'd feel bad if you bought one, and it didn't work out) is to take a blush or powder brush, and hold your fingers very close to the bottom of the bristles and squeeze it together. That will make it function like a denser brush. I would try that first before buying a kabuki because maybe a denser brush won't solve the problem if the colour's just not right for you.
Speaking of In for a Treat, I just wanted to say thank you for this tip! It worked so well! I feel like I can really use this product now! I actually feel really dumb because it's such a simple solution...haha

Hopefully it wasn't tampered with. I'd say if the white overlay doesn't look like it's there (the white edge) it may have been messed with. Now im nervous! Im not sure if the white thing. Any other way to tell? Maybe i should return it? Dun really wanna pay return shipping though

Sometimes (not often) they arrive like that (flap not closed). It doesn't necessarily mean they've been tampered with... unless you can see that the product has been obviously used/tested. I wouldn't worry about it if the surface of the powder looks fine. (No finger prints, smudges, etc.)

Sorry! Didn't mean to alarm you. If I could attach a photo I would, but I'm using my phone ATM. In for a Treat, in perfect condition has a white scalloped edge that's sparkly. It's not part of the actual product but just kind of a decoration, if you will. It comes off very easily with a brush or even a finger. If it isn't on the edges or looks misplaced, it may have been touched. Like Jennifae said, if it doesn't have fingerprints or anything you should be good. Sorry to freak you out!

I've had that happen numerous times from MAC orders as well as Nordstrom. Nothing was ever touched. I think it just happens. As long as it looks untouched, I wouldnt stress.

How does everyone else feel about IFAT= in for a treat?
Having pretty light skin, I was hoping for better color payoff...almost like a tinted highlighter if that makes sense. Unfortunately, it takes a lot to build any color, and by the time I build up enough to see color it looks chalky. With a light hand, it's a nice subtle highlighter. Not sure how it is on darker skin. The design is sooooo pretty tho!!! I could never swap/sell it!

It's kind of ashy on darker skin, at least it is on mine. I haven't used mine yet, but swatched the tester on Sunday. I'm going to be returning mine.

I ended up at Macy's today on a whim. I saw Eclair in the display so I asked if they still have it. I was told yes so I added the other new paint pots in along with Baking Beauty mineralize lip balm. Well, of course they did not have Eclair. Now I must have it. I don't know what took me so long to even try to get it. I usually get all the new Paint Pots that come out. I don't know why I dragged my heels with this one. Plus it is bronze. I buy everything that is bronze. I think I was just overwhelmed with all the new stuff coming out with all the brands. I think I may have to order it online now. I'm worried I won't find it if I look for it later this week. Plus I drove myself crazy looking for the Maybelline Color Tattoos today and yesterday. I think I went to about 10 stores. I found them all at the last store I went to and they had BOGO1/2 off. I just don't want a repeat of that experience so soon. Plus all the Eclair talk is driving me

Sure, d, people do it all the time. Remember the video of MAC MUA Fatima using it as a concealer/corrector? I would just be afraid of gunking up my pores because I have oily skin (which may not be a realistic concern.)
