KPXgenie, and Yazmin I felt the same. It took a lot to build up the color. I had to return it. :/

Ice, if you can't find eclair get the Bobbi Brown dupe, I think it was beached bronze.

Luvlydee, you are going to make me break out Sakura!!!

I saw that. I would order RS now and just wait for it to come in but I'm broke unless I can ask my family if I can borrow $15+. Being broke stinks, for sure.

It's exactly what i wanted! Very subtle, hint of color, slight shimmer, blends with my skintone. My understanding is that these Pearlmattes are not supposed to deliver much color, just brighten the face a bit. And that's what this does. So i am very very happy. I really love IFAT.

I was so disappointed with Veronica's Blush from Archie's - Christine of Temptalia said it didn't deliver much color and she had to dig to get the color to show. But on me the hot pink from the hearts was definitely there. So Pink Buttercream is exactly what i hoped VB would be, no bright pink, just subtle cool pink with slight shimmer.

But i'm a paleface...

It's what my mom did when i was a kid, long ago. She didn't use a separate blush, just a faint swipe of the same lipstick she was using on her cheeks, then blended it into her foundation well with her fingers.

I'm amazed at my restraint with all of the MAC April collections. I only ordered 3 lipsticks from this collection.

  • Lavender Whip x 2
  • Raspberry Swirl
  • Pure Decoration

I ordered them from Nordstrom on backorder, so we'll see if I actually get them. I think I will. My backordered Heroine items were delivered. Did anyone with a darker skin tone get the pearlmattes? I'm thinking about them.

sigh, having remorse now that you've said that. :(

I just swung by my nordies to try the pearl mattes. The mua applied it literally under my eye. And she applied a ton, basically just highlighting my fine lines! The worst part is, I still can't tell which one I like better!

I wondering how people are finding the formula of Lavender Whip? I got my Raspberry Swirl yesterday and I hate the formula on my lips. I have really bad lip lines, probably way too bad for someone my age (I'm 23) and my lips are very dry and often chapped. I exfoliate and use lots of lip balm but nothing really helps. I have alot of problems with lipsticks settling in my lines and accentuating the dryness etc, especially paler colours, so I knew to expect that with RS, but I think this was probably one of the worse formulas I've ever had on my lips! Which is a shame because I love the colour. I have the same issue with Saint Germain- love the colour hate the formula, it's alot better than this one though. I only have 1 other cremesheen which is Outrageously Fun, and I like the formula of that so thought I would for this one too. I use prep n prime under all my lipsticks, and I'm going to try RS with a lip liner aswell to see if that helps. But I was thinking of getting LW when it launches properly here in the UK tomorrow. I obviously don't want to have the same problem so was wondering how others are finding these 2 lipsticks? Also, if RS is better with a lip liner, I wouldn't know which liner to get to use with LW, what's everyone else using?

I can't help about the formula, but I used to have similar issues with my lips. The last couple of weeks though, my lips have been as smooth and flake-free as they've ever been. I started using micellar water to cleanse my lips every night, and I was amazed at the difference it has made. I've been using Lancome up to now which is pricy (it was a GWP) but I want to try the L'Oreal version. (My favourite balm is Carmex Lime Twist) Anyway, it may not help you but I thought it was worth mentioning. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water too!

Finally got my hands on mooncake and it is super gorgeous. I love it so much, but the fall out is an absolute nightmare. I've been cleaning up fall out all day with tape and it just keeps reappearing.
