MAC Tropical Taboo Collection (2013)

Ah! I have had so much going on, I had no idea we have had the color story for weeks now! The summer mineralize collection is always my main haul for the year and what I look forward to the most.

Going on descriptions alone, this is my list:

Mineralize Lipsticks
Midnight Mambo –Intense violet

Cremesheen Glass
Fever Isle – Bright red coral

Lip Pencil
Heroine – Bright purple
Tropica - Silver blue with purple pearlize pigments (if it is more purple than blue, it's a must for me)

Mineralize Skinfinish
Lust – Pale pink with cranberry pearlized pigments
Soft ‘n Gentle – Gilded peach bronze

Mineralize Eyeshadow
Carribean –Rose with pink and red pearlized pigments
Cha-Cha-Cha – Deep blue green with green pearlized pigments
Time to Tango- Lavendar with silver pearlized pigments


Narcissus CSG is lovely, but I already have it and still haven't opened it!

I always haul the most from the summer mineralize collection but it has to stop really. As much as I love those baked goodies, I don't use them often (apart from the highlighter msf's) and there's no reason why. So I have to use my stuff before doing another big mineralize haul. Only a couple of items for me!

Sshh no! I probably have dupes for at least 3/4 of my TT wishlist so only a couple of items! I have enough blushes so I need to be tough on myself.

I agree! I pulled out my Meteoric CSG from Heavenly Creatures a few weeks back and have been using it a lot.

Tentative List: Cremesheen Glass: Narcissus Lip Pencils: Heroine, Ablaze, Tropica (+BU?) Mineralize Blush: Sweet Samba, Simmer MSF: Adored, Rio?(depends on shimmerness-I tend to prefer matte bronzer, but Earthshine and Belightful are notable exceptions), Lust MES: Dare to Bare, Carribean? (unless it looks just like Rose Pigment), Cha-Cha-Cha, Time to Tango, Bossa Blue(both of these sound like Deep Blue Green and Blue Brown pigments but in MES form, which I adore both and would be great to have in a pressed e/s product form) Brushes: 159!, 287??? Can't decide if I should BU Orpheus and try Feline pencils Pretty much looks like all the powder MES products, which means I may have to cut back on the lip products and try to trim my TR list...

Highlighter. If you use them all over, you're gonna look like a greasy disco ball, unless that's the look you're going for :lol:

That too! I got a mini watts up for my sephora bday gift, and i LOVE it for my cupids bow! I don't wear foundation, just powder, and i don't like cream products on top of powder, so at least i have a use for this lil guy.

I got the same sephora gift but and the mini watts up has been sitting in my swatches drawer. what do you use to apply it to your cupids bow Erin?

I apply it straight from the little tube and blend with my finger. Then apply my lip colour.
