False Eyelashes!

I'm new to falsies, and I was just wondering how often it's okay to wear them? I'm nervous they will ruin my natural lashes, which are pretty decent.

They shouldn't ruin your real lashes as long as you don't rip real ones out when you pull off the falsies (be gentle when removing, in other words).

I wear false lashes everyday I go out. I just started wearing them a few weeks ago when I decided to learn how to put them on. If you pull on the false lash to remove it and you're sure not to tug on your own lashes, you'll be fine. I have naturally long lashes and I've experienced no damage to them. The Katy Perry lashes are fun and beautiful, but can be frustrating to put on. The band is pretty stiff. They are long, too. My eyes aren't all that small, but I had to clip it a bit otherwise it'll go from the outer corner all the way to the inner corner. That's no big deal, but the stiffness is. I have two pairs and I wouldn't buy anymore. In my limited experience of Mac, KP and Ardell lashes I'd say Ardell has the best ones. Soft, natural looking hair and easy, soft but firm band.

That is something I have heard, too. But you have tried it, so that means something :)

is it true that it will be easier to remove if u swipe some makeup remover on the band with a cotton bud before pulling it put gently?

I usually only wear them when I am going out to an event like a wedding or party. I started out with the half lashes first and then worked my way to the full ones just to get use to them. I've only worn MAC, Ardell and Duo lashes but all of them are great!

I buy my DUO Lash kit (lashes and glue) at Winners (Canadian equivalent to TJ MAXX) for super cheap and they are awesome.

My favourite glue is Duo glue, it hasn't ever failed me so I use nothing else.

I'm a lash hoarder! I have so many its kind of insane but I love lashes. Anything from the Ebay to store to thick band ones. Honestly not huge on the Katy Perry lashes I find them to be a bit natural if you like that kind of look. I like my lashes to either be long or really full looking, but the Katy's are fun especially the new colored ones they just realeased.

My favorite lashes of the moment are Salon Perfect 28, Eylure 145 and the 204. For like normal everyday sized lashes I like Demi's by Salon Perfect, Kiss 05/Salon Perfect 33. I also have been liking Forever 21 lashes, but they come in a four pack, they have a thick plastic ban like the ebay lashes.

I take my lashes off with eye makeup remover and I immediately pull the glue off the lash because I like to re-use them up to five days at times. People say three but sometimes I go five it hasn't been an issue for me. It really depends on the lash sometimes with thinner ones its easy to mess them up after the second use.

Oh I also use to love the 305 lashes by Ardell when I first got into lashes they are end lashes and are really easy to put on and go.

I have like fairy lashes, rhinestone and bottom lashes. I only wear these when I'm going out like at night or for work around the holidays or if we're having an event/contest.

I've never tried using makeup remover before removing an eyelash and I've never had a problem (unless I accidentally pull on my own which are kinda long already). What kind of glue are you using? I use the black lash glue from Sephora and while it holds the lashes all day, it's quick and painless to remove. Lashes are not supposed to feel heavy. I know when I'm wearing them and when I'm not because they may lightly graze my glasses from time to time if I wear really long ones, but they are not supposed to itch, burn, cut or feel heavy. Some lashes have terrible bands. That could be your problem.

I've been thinking about trying a pair of Velour. Not sure it's going to happen anytime soon, though. Ardell lashes are the best, in my opinion. So easy to apply, comfortable and come in fantastic natural and dramatic styles at a great price.

I'm going to throw my 2 cents in And recommend the 'red cherry' brand for falsies! I use those all the time! They're dirt cheap and easy to apply! I love their eyelash selection :)
