I wouldn't say sheerer, but softer. But they can be built up a bit. But they aren't as opaque as the regular blushes.NOt sure I like the eyeshadows. they are a bit too shimmery. I'm speaking mostly of zestful. I think I'm in love with Opalesse though. Not sure I can wear the skin finishes. I was playing with them today and when I wiped it off my face, there was a small circular dry spot. Loos like the skin was inflammed and calmed back down. BOOO! Not sure how I feel about the blushes, are they supposed to be very sheer?
I thought I was alone. Zestful is shimmerfest on me and not in a good way. Too much going on to wear it to work with a base, but too sheer to wear on it's own. Trying to pawn it off to my daughter, but she is kinda ehhh on it, too. No more EDES for me. I'm still considering the EDSF, but I'm not sure how we'd use the darker colors. Are people using them to highlight? I'm considering DefDef and STF. We need something cooler toned to highlight.I love EDES and have quite a few now, but I didn't like Zestful on me. It was just too sheer and glittery for me. I gave it to my 11 year-old who is thrilled to bits with it. One of her competition skating dresses is a metallic lime green (very Tink-like). Zestful is a perfect complement.
I absolutely adore Def Def, but I find it more neutral than warm (also how MAC described it to me). I have trouble with cool highlighters because they just look off on me.I thought I was alone. i saw these two at the mac counter this evening...was contemplating at dusk, but i feel there are many good things coming soon so maybe it's better to hold off...Edited to add: At Dusk and Bareness, too.
:agree: And that's how i wear it too!I absolutely adore Def Def, but I find it more neutral than warm (also how MAC described it to me). I have trouble with cool highlighters because they just look off on me. I swirl the two colours together and apply to my cheekbones as a highlight; it's too light to be a blush on me and I'm NC20-25 at the moment.
Just realized this could be misinterpreted. By cool I meant okay. LOL. I'll probably pick it up and see if it looks good on me or my daughter.Thank you. Neutral is cool, too. I just didn't need another warm/gold. I feel like there are so many gold-toned highlighters.
How much? I wld!Is anyone looking for Shape the Future? I don't want the one i got by mistake.
Yesterday I received my Fiery Impact. I did NOT expect it to be this gorgeous. I believed there was a comparison with Early Morning (which is a blush that does not look good on me without making an effort), but to me, EM doesn't hold a candle against FI. That concludes my ED haul: Double Definition Shape The Future 2x Definately Defined Flaming Chic Fiery Impact
I find FI to much more burnt in colour, not to mention the finish.. I Thought fi and rfl looks the same.
dang, on my skin looked.different or could.just be bugging out.I find FI to much more burnt in colour, not to mention the finish.
