Good idea. I have some e/s I could depot but I'm not sure if my mac will take them. I hear some stores are picky.

Yes some stores are picky. My pro store wants the pans in the eye shadows and the other one closer doesn't even bother to inspect them or anything.

Most of the bad ones i got were while i worked at mac, either buying or thru gratis. Razzledazzler, VG Gaga 2, and some others. Besides, pros can't return products unless they're damaged, and a bad smell doesn't count as damaged.

A bad smell would seem like damage to me. You're losing clients because who would want funky gloss on their lips? :\ So many empties.. seems like such a feat for a newbie like me!

You'd think it would, but it doesn't. Gratis is free, so they wouldn't replace it, and when discounts are given, refunds aren't allowed. It's ok. I typically stick with neutral/nude glosses, and goodness knows im stocked up on those. I'm just safer not buying them unless i can buy/smell em in person. And you'll get there soon with empties. I go through by basics pretty quickly, and i just depotted all my PLW and mega metal shadows, which comes close to 36 empties. i depot all my kit lipsticks, so there's even more empties! I depot everything!

RS and HJ, and I'm gonna B2M for SK if i like it in person. That's it! You? I bought some empty tins from tkbtrading that i pop in there. For the 6+ yrs i worked at my counter we accepted depots. As soon as i leave they change the policy. Lame.

looking to get HJ,SK,Flamingo and possibly Razzledazzler. I never copped Flamingo or Razzledazzler from previous collections so hopefully I'll like them. Maybe a creme sheen gloss too..

I have been buying a lot less gloss tho, as I've gotten more than a few brand new that have been rancid from day one. Waste of my money!

Wow...what brands?..I have so many glosses. I will never give up wearing gloss.

I searched for Razzledazzler on the mac site...the nail polish and lipgloss came up and I got excited...ugh!

I know, right!? When i worked for mac we couldn't recycle, so I'd send em down to my sister to use to get stuff. And now i still send em to her to get me shadows and glosses for recycle cuz her free standing store is 30 mins away. Mine is 90 mins away

Wow...what brands?..I have so many glosses.  I will never give up wearing gloss. 

MAC. I only use MAC glosses as I'm super sensitive to smells/tastes. I know one of the first batches of Gaga 2 gloss was rancid. Out gratis was, so i chose the lipstick over the gloss. One of the N Collection glosses was a bad batch too.
