MAC All About Orange Collection (June 2013)

Tangerine dreams lipstick definitely leans towards the yellow orange

I'm so scared that HJ will have shimmer. Orange and shimmer combined scare me. I don't even know why.

Honey jasmine is a satin texture, satin textures usually have the slight tinist sheen but honestly when i wear satin texture blush they look more matte on me rather than the sheertone shimmer or frost textures.

I can't wait to try that depot method. I currently use a tart warmer (for scented wax melting) and it works great for UD, sephora brand and most drugstore brands but I always get a tiny bend and chip with Mac when I pry it out.

I initially started out putting them in the oven! But that would ruin some textures, so i switched to the flat iron, and then to the candle. The wirecutter method is the quickest, safest and easiest method.

Went to swatch in my local stand-alone MAC and they did not have this collection. Apparently people have been asking about it, though. I'm disappointed 'cuz i want to figure out if i want Flamingo and/or Sweet & Sour. I also want to test Immortal Flower, but i know i want Royal Sunset. Is this one of those collections "only at select MACs"?

It's not uncommon for shipment to arrive the week of the launch.

I am so thankful for swatches. I really want to see the blushes on cheeks. I'm worried my cheeks hold too much redness for RS

Have you tried a colour correcting primer to tone down the redness?

Thanks ladies, I am seriously loving all the orangy stuff from this collection can't wait to wear honey jasmine and tangerine dreams tml. I m goin thru an orangy craze right nw XD This is one of my looks with MAC morange and MAC saigon summer ... ALSO orange again. U girls who like orangeys should check out MAC saigon summer lipstick. (NOT sure if it's perm in the us, it's perm over here in asia). I think saigon summer and tangerine dreams are quite similar in color. Both have like yellow orange if u noe what i mean XD

Saigon Summer is perm in the US too!!

Have you tried a colour correcting primer to tone down the redness?

I haven't just because it isn't very strong (I'm also lazy!) My cheeks are just the only cool-toned part of my face. The rest is warm.
