MAC All About Orange Collection (June 2013)

I already have IF and if Liba's right about the honey jasmin - fresh honey comparisin I can safely skip HJ too. Now I am wondering (don't recall this being asked before) how does royal sunset compare to launch away? I was going to skip this and I missed it here, but I just want to make sure I am not missing out on any wonderful items...

According to T, LA is lighter and pinker than RS.

OT - but I wanted to give a shout out to a what turned out to be a great new product for me. Smashbox CC cream. I had one dark spot from an old acne scar that bugged the heck out of me. Well, after I used the new CC cream just about 3 times, the darkened spot was lightened/decreased by about 30%!!! After about 2 months of using it (not even regularly) its almost completely gone. Even hubs noticed it without me saying anything. I whined about this spot forever as it drove me crazy to see it. Now my skin looks almost flawless. I've tried everything that promised to erase dark spots but nothing ever even diminished it slightly. I was considering laser, but now I won't have to. Everyones skin is different, but thought this may help someone else.
I'm very light but use the Fair as a perfect match. The lightest shade was too yellow/weird for my skin. it gets very good reviews.

I still want HJ

Ditto---I've been using SBCC under my foundation----I have hideous dark circles under my eyes and they are less so since I've been using the SBCC

I think if u had to ask me which are my favourite lipsticks from this collection it would be tart and trendy and tangerine dreams. I think i am leaning towards the warm oranges. I find them easier to wear on me as compared to sushi kiss and sweet and sour

I think u should get tangerine dream. It's such a gorgeous yellow orange.,,,very underrated imho. I am loving this color.

good morning to all.. My daughter did some volunteer hours through ROTC serving the Vets yesterday. Anyhow, she comes home and gives me this bee-u- tiful flamingo water bottle...lol. I laughed and said to her, I'm waiting to buy my lipstick in the color flamingo you know. She said, when you get it you can sip from your flamingo bottle wearing flamingo lipstick.. I said absolutely!! Too funny...

I'm SO hesitant between Royal Sunset and Inmortal Flower... Honey Jasmine looks nice but I have Chanel's Frivole which seems quite similar.

Personally, I think Royal Sunset looks a little too powdery and too cool for our kind of skintone so it's not even on my radar. I would go for Honey Jasmine if I were you, but if you are only choosing between Immortal Flower and Royal Sunset, then I think Immortal Flower would probably look better.

I would go for immortal flower. Royal sunset is really pink! It's a nice color but I prefer peach / coral blushes so IF would have been a better choice
