My 2nd haul arrived today! I got Tarte & Trendy plus a BU of Razzledazzler! I haven't tried T&T yet because my baby girl had her 1st shots today, so she's been a little fussy this evening and needs extra love, comfort, and snuggles.

Reel Sexy and Sushi Kiss are sooooooo similar on my lips. I like Reel Sexy, but not sure if I like it enough to have additional BUs lol. But I like the name Sushi Kiss *sigh* #hoarderproblems.


Outside of Flamingo, Tart & Trendy is my favorite shade from this collection. It's just so fun and I love the sheen it has on my lips. Sweet & Sour is a good nude color, but not one of my favorites (as far as nudes go, Marquise D' has that title). Tangerine Dream is an experimental shade that I probably should not have purchased lol, but we'll see what happens with a little elbow grease.

You can be subscribed in a couple different ways. You are probably subscribed as 'site only'. When you go to your profile you can go to your subscriptions page and change the settings to were to do get an email. The link is under your profile picture and it says edit subscriptions.

I've been subscribed via "immediate" emails by default and I still am. I used to receive emails all the time when there are new replies. My settings haven't changed, but all of a sudden my emails stopped.

They're quite similar. You know how much I love Reel Sexy ;)

Just try applying very lightly and patting into the lips with your finger. Don't use a bunch of lip liner - it will only make the color seem more like fake wax lips. Another option is to apply some balm or gloss first, put only a dab of SK on the middle of the lower lip and the cupid's bow, and then pat all of that in with a finger.

One thing about TD - I thought it was pretty wild looking on me in the store lighting, but in soft nighttime lighting it looks amazing on me, so try playing around with that a little.

For me, I think all the lipsticks look best without any other makeup on or just a subtle bit of blush or bronzer so that I've got a bit of a glow. If I put eye makeup on too, I have to get it just so or the colors start looking a little too costume-y for my age. Also, I think the right hair style can really make a difference too - you need something cute and maybe a little retro to emphasize the adorableness of the lipsticks - they deserve a touch of dress up and flair.

Try re-upping it by set it one of the other options, then switch back to email and see if that works.
