in theory it should look great, but i find rebel looks too 'grown-up' on me...i feel like it ages me about 20 years...so i generally have to tweak the rest of my makeup accordingly. actually most deep reds and burgundies do the same...

darker colors do tend to make people look older, sometimes I like to put on a lighter lipgloss in the middle to younger it up

lol...i take it you stocked up on BUs!
i think, based on the 'swatch' images in the retro matte thread, the two shades in this collection are going to be more up my alley, so i shouldn't miss them!
i tend to just do extremely simple eyes, and preferably make them a bit rock n roll...like thick black liner on the upper lid. and dewy complexion as opposed to any heavier coverage foundations and powders. but i definitely can't do the barefaced look with red lips like they were touting the last couple of years...i need eye makeup to make myself look awake!

It's so funny with me and the color Rebel i have seen it on some people and it looks different on everyone...i like it when it looks like a dark deep pink fushcia (however u spell it lol) color but it always pulls ugly on me

so im hoping it is not too too dark

Rebel pulled really fuschia on me, too. When I lined/filled in with lips with Vino l/l and then wore Rebel it looked a lot more like in the tube which is what I wanted.

Lol if there is I havent tried it yet. I bought Ablaze and hated it so now I steer clear of any orange lipsticks....
