No, it always depends on the colors/mixtures.And also on your skin tone.
Blonde (MSF), Supernova (MB) and Fresh Ice (MES) e.g. do not look muddy at all.
And there are many,many other examples.

I think I may be the only one excited about this collection, because the colors have caught my eye. I've skipped Baking Beauties, Temperature Rising, Nudes & Metallics and AAO. I'm leaning toward Sweet Samba, Exotic Ember, Rio, Orpheus and the 159. Maybe Midnight Mambo, but will have to depend on swatches.
You have been so good with not buying things! I think you deserve to splurge on this one
Maybe most people aren't really excited for this, because they're MACed out, lol. There have been a lot of collections recently and if I wouldv've hauled from every single one I'd probably be a little ''exhausted'' as well. I skipped pretty much every collection in the last months and only got two items from TR, so I'm ready to drop some $$$ on this one. Plus, it's mineralize! MINERALIZE, people! Where ma mineralize heaux at?!
I still think that MAC is making a mistake by keeping a tight lid on things. I really believe there would be far more excitement if bloggers already had samples and swatches of the whole thing. The longer it takes for info&swatches to pop up, the more people lose interest, that's my theory.

Same here! I want Adored, maybe Simmer and/or another msf. I'm just not feeling it.. with HC I bought so much! I do want Midnight Mambo but I just got FMP and in a few weeks I also have UTA and RRB and mineralize lipsticks are too expensive IMO so I hope those lippies will satisfy my purple lipstick craving for now.

Found a swatch of Lust MSF on this blog. It looks like a lot like Petticoat without the gold glitter. Here's hoping the other 2 new MSFS are also glitter free!

I am excited for the color story and I'm excited for the people who are looking forward to this collection.
Tropical Taboo has even inspired me to throw a theme party.
But sadly I don't think I will be getting anything. July would be an all-permanent haul month for me.

I am with you....I am excited for this collection because I am a huge fan of mineralize stuff too!
At the moment I am impatiently waiting for more swatches!!!!
There is only one thing that disappoints me this time....the MBs.I would have loved to get new ones but unfortunatly they are
not "made for me" this year
Still very excited for Lust,Adored, MIDNIGHT MAMBO, the CSGs (Narcissus BUs
), a few MES
and the 159, though

Maybe some people are not that excited for TT because it includes several repromotes
Even 2 MSFs are repromotes!Most of the lipsticks,all lip pencils,2 CSGs,the eye pencils and 2 of the brushes.
I think we have never seen so many repromotes in a mineralize collection before

Thanks - that looks promising! I prefer a sheerer application but I could certainly wear that colour. I've reshuffled my makeup drawer and it's full to the brim. Not an empty slot. Not sure where I'd put a couple of extra MSF, but I suppose I'd manage. I hope we'll see more swatches soon. I want to be sure I'm not buying a near dupe of Redhead, Light Year, Definitely Defined or Dior Amber Diamond.

I'm really curious how exotic ember looks and midnight mambo .
